This soap holder fits well on our shower shelf. It holds one regular sized bar of body soap and a small shampoo bar. It looks great in our shower and matches a teak shelf we already had. It is light weight, keeps the soaps dry underneath, does not slide around on the shelf and is easy to rinse off. We are trying to end our use of plastic bottles and this item will help us do that. I buy handmade soaps and did want to waste them. Bamboo is a hygienic wood. The soap dries in this slotted dish instead of decreasing in a soap dish by laying in wetness, It is easy to clean. I liked it so much that I purchased two. I preferred this product over stainless steel with its own dish because I did not want rust. However, using this product with handmade soap, this fell apart at every place where it was glued. Wiping wood after each use is not practical. Wood takes time to dry. Read more

Just looking for an inexpensive and stylish holder for a bathroom hardly used but realized water will fall below and soap kind of sticks to all the little wooden bars. Just typical problems when using bar soap. Still, love this little bamboo holder and think it’s great for its price! Read more
It was smaller than I expected (didn't read the dimensions). It is very cute so I ended up using it on the side of my kitchen sink to hold the potato scrub brush on. The slats let the brush drip dry so it wont get gross sitting in a pool of water. Read more
This is a perfect soap dish. I used to have one made of metal (the Kyoto Soap Saver, also bought on Amazon) that turned to rust after a couple months and was so heavy that if you dropped it, it chipped enamel, granite, etc. This is lightweight, does not rust, and attractive--fits perfectly inside my shower. Highly recommend, especially when compared to the alternatives (plastic or metal). Read more

Good size for shower niche, reasonable price. I like that bamboo is sustainable. Keeps soap from getting mushy. UPDATE: 2 mos later, black mold. Kept on shelf in tile/glass shower. Water from wet soap only, not direct path of shower spray. Bathroom has fan above shower door & I live in CA - not humid here. Unless arrid climate, use only for incidental guest shower, otherwise not practical for daily use. Disappointing 😕 Read more
