It's good that you can modify this, it comes PLENTY big. Bought it for my son who probably is a 28-30 waist and it goes around him about once and a half + a bit!! But it's basic to open the buckle, cut the belt (I think we took about 7 inches off), just decide on the size you want. Other than that it's a good sturdy belt, and it's nice looking--the metal buckle is understated, and the black belt doesn't look like it's stretchy mesh, it doesn't really attract any attention, so it's great for a teen or YA who can use it for a casual or a business casual/somewhat more formal look. What I mean by that is that it's a very nice design and the elastic part is strong, but comfortable. Part of why it's so comfortable is that the band is fairly wide and so the elastic force is spread over a larger area. However because it's so wide, the metal buckle can sometimes dig into your waist or belly when sitting down in a certain way. Other than that, i like this belt quite a bit. Read more
Best golf belt I own (and I have quite a few). Both the black and the white colors are vibrant and have just the right amount of stretch. Easily trimmed once I got the perfect length and the buckle clasp stays closed and is not easily accidentally opened. Just got to get more colors now Read more
