Despite other reviews, I have been pleased with the durability of these shoes as my 6 year old son's daily pair. I love the style and the ease of the slip on as he can put on himself without my assistance. They are extremely lightweight and are very comfortable for him (have become his shoe of choice above his other UAs). The fit is slightly small - I did purchase a size bigger than his normal size per other reviews.
