Caution:
They are super cute, but that's besides the point. You want them to work as well. These are a gamble to order, you will want to actually try them on your child and here's why: The opening on the bottom with the loop is pre-sized and has little to medium stretch. My daughter's foot wouldn't even fit through! So I considered just cutting the entire bottom off, but the shin guard isn't wide, it's already pre-shrunk a certain size to wrap around the leg, like a half moon shape. Well, it's a tiny half moon with no flexibility at all. The Wilson brand at Walmart works better because it's not a severe half moon, it's lightly rounded instead, to vary each child's calf/leg size. It will literally fit anyone. I'm disappointed these Nike ones run so small and am also shocked they would have little to no flexibility. We'll just sell them locally, but yeah. If your kid has that naturally tiny frame and is 3-5 years old then these might work... anyone older than 5, I'd be shocked if they fit. (I do a class for 3 and 4 years old, and have one so I can compare my 8 year old to them) Read more
