Nilight 2PCS Square LED Trailer Light Kit Low Profile Submersible IP68 Stop Turn Tail Side Marker License Lamps

When I received this kit I was pleasantly surprised by everything the kit included. I didn't expect the kit to come with a full wiring harness and connectors so that was a plus. Everything was straightforward enough to wire up, although I do wish the instructions were a little more descriptive regarding some of the components. The rear lights have some kind of adhesive pad but it's not clear where they go, so I just put them on the "light" side without sticking them. I ended up using the existing wiring on my trailer but I'm a little concerned with what was included to connect the wires - simple twist connectors that you might find in a household junction box. Since these are meant to be installed on a submersible trailer I'd rather make sure my wire connections are watertight as well (as such I soldered and heat shrunk all connections to be on the safe side.) A couple of other disappointments with the included hardware - a licence plate frame is included but no hardware to install the license plate itself, and the rings for the negative leads are too small to fit around the attachment bolts on the rear lights (where my previous leads were located.) Once everything was wired up the lights worked great though. Nice and bright LEDs that I expect will last a good while. The hardware issues aren't really a deal breaker since I didn't expect the kit to come with any of that anyway, it would just be nice if it was a little more thought out. I had zero know how on how to install these but I bought it anyway. I followed the instructions and got this installed in about 45 minutes because I kept forgetting what I was doing. However, if you know how to do this you should be able to install it way faster than me. They work great and I have had zero issues. Read more

I only purchased this kit for the tail lights and wire harness but I actually used the side markers, the metal clip tabs to hold the wire up against the underside of the trailer. Be advised the taillights are pretty bright & when the brake pedal is pressed, they get really bright so when you are installing them before your brake lights and taillights work independently. I also recommend you BOLT the white wire to the frame of the trailer. Make sure you clean it to bare metal & heartstrings all connection points. Do not use the taillights mount bolts as a ground post for your taillights white wire. Drill a hole somewhere on the trailer frame near the taillights and install a nut and bolt. I used 8-32 ¾ bolts to secure side markers to frame, then painted over them! Very good quality. Bought this light set to update my trailer to LED and not have to fuss with bulb connections each time I used the trailer. I did have to add a bracket to accommodate the marker lights on the sides because my original lights had a stud in the middle and the ones in this kit have a screw hole on each end. Other than that Installation was pretty straightforward. They are nice and bright and being LED, pull very little current (amperage). Read more

I had written a bad review on these trailer lights, I purchased. I thought the lights had been ruined by the salt water. It turned out the lights are fine, very bright, and I was wrong. I have had the lights submerged launching the boat around 10 times since January 2024. My ground wire on the trailer was corroded. It caused the lights to intermittently work. I took a wire brush to the area under the ground screw. These lights are working perfectly now. I would buy them again. When I first opened the package I took silicone and applied it where the wires enter the light on both brake lights, and both side lights before I ever used them.
