nine bull Womens Solid Basic Stretch Turtleneck Pullover Knit Sweater

I don't write a lot of these but with ordering things online being tough at times I wanted to give my impression in case it can help. I ordered the Small but I am typically an extra small, 30C bust. I would say the small fits me similar to the picture of the gal in the yellow top shown. (And I purchased the yellow too.) Probably a little looser in the bust on me as well as relaxed like it is on her. I would have preferred a tighter fit because my intention is to layer it but it will work as I am putting it under a looser sweatshirt so no problem, but I would imagine if it were available in the XS, it would have fit more like I would find typical, so that is why I feel this runs true to size. As far as the material, it is plenty thick to wear by itself, not thin like some of my ribbed turtlenecks I use for layering, this has some weight to it, that being said, this is not a "sweater" in the sense like something soft and fuzzy that you may think of when you hear sweater. This is heavier than the RL ribbed turtlenecks, for reference, if that helps anybody. Now, as far as the color...I purchased the yellow and it is pretty close to the picture, maybe a little more orange in it but not much, but it is really a nice rich yellow that won't wash those of us out by being too light or too mustardy. Oh, another thing, the length, as someone who can't stand tunics or things that tuck in clear past your rear end, but still want it to stay tucked in, this is a great lenght in my opinion. I am 5'7" and it is probably just past my hip bones so it will stay tucked in to my mid rise jeans but not so long that I have to untuck a bunch to not have the line of it showing under my jeans. This turtleneck is really high quality. I liked it so much I ordered two additional colors. I will say that the red has an orange undertone. So if you are looking for a true red, this might not be what you want. Hopefully you can see the difference in reds in my photo. The fabric is thick and has a very high-end feel. I ordered black and yellow ribbed turtlenecks. The yellow I received was a wrong type of turtleneck, so I'm returning it. The black one is nice with exception that the sleeves are a bit too short, they need to be at least 1/2" longer to show up as on picture on me. But otherwise it fits nice. I will try xl in the black and see if that will fit in the sleeves and I will still keep the large. I am 5'9 between 135-145Lb fluctuating, long arms. Large fits very nice (by my liking of course) and as I mentioned with exception of sleeves being slightly too short. The material is solid thickish, which I like, feels soft and comfortable on skin. The neck is how I like it, firmly sits in place. I judge quality of turtlenecks by these criteria: 1. The material is solid texture and feels comfortable on skin 2. it's stretchy and flexible enough to adjust to contour. 3. The sleeves are long enough to reach the base of wrist. 4. It keeps the shape and texture after washing. 5. It does not get loose in the neck and arms during the day of wear (I can't stand if it does that, most of them do that; it creates a really lousy look) 6. It lasts at least 3 years with regular wear. The points 4 through 6 I can not speak for right now. But I will update after a day of wear followed by wash and will post picture later. Edit: posted picture. Edit2: Even though it says 'machine not washable', I washed it several times now in machine wash on warm, air dried it and stayed pretty much the same shape and feel as new. If manufacturer could add 1" to the length of arm or add "tall" version with longer arms, it would be nice. The material does stretch off somewhat in arms during wear, though it does keep the shape better then some other sweaters I had that stretch all over the place after few hours of wear. I hope eventually manufacturers can take that into account and adjust the material to keep the shape during wear. Otherwise nice classic turtleneck. Read more
