This was a last minute purchase before taking our granddaughter to Disneyland for a week in late June. I'm soooo glad I decided to buy it. It's nice and compact, perfect for a daypack and it pops up quick with the press of a button and was just big enough for the 3 of us to stand under while standing in long lines in the sun. We used it all three days and absolutely loved it! We've since used it at a couple of festivals to help beat the heat. I love the reflective outer coating, it kept it from getting hot under the umbrella. I got the pale blue underside to further help with heat management. We used this in conjunction with the around-the-neck cooling fans we got at our local membership store and this "sunbrella" and neck fans literally saved us! Read more

I used to love these umbrellas. I found them to be sturdy and got a lot of daily wear out of them. I purchased my third umbrella on March 13th. I used it for the first time this weekend, less than two months after purchase but after their one month return deadline. One of the stretchers was broken on opening. The other broke during use. It was not a windy day. I am so disappointed. I never thought I needed to check to see if the umbrella was not broken since my first two purchases were satisfactory. Surprised that there is no minimum warranty/guarantee beyond 30 days. And I'm sad because I was really pleased with the first two umbrellas I purchased here and now have to search again for a sun umbrella. Read more
