I love these socks!! They may very well be the best socks I've ever had. I wanted socks that would keep me warm. Being 80% wool they are wonderfully warm without making me sweaty. They fit very well which was really important. My socks had gotten too large so I'd have to wear 2 pairs at a time. They would fall down and bunch up and actually make my toes sore. With these socks that no longer happens. They are thick, soft & not at all itchy. I love the design around the tops of the socks and that each of the 4 pairs have the design in a different color. They've gone into the washing machine and dryer and come out looking like they've never been worn. The price is excellent. Everything about this purchase was so perfect that I went back the following week and bought the same set again! My feet are always cold. I finally found socks that keep my feet warm and dry. Nine to five socks are more than 80% merino wool. And they are the best socks I've ever found to keep my feet warm during the coldest times. Soft wool socks that are not tight on my ankles, yet warm and comfortable. I love my nine to five socks. They wash easily in the machine without losing shape and size. And the price for these sock is outstanding. They are the warmest, highest quality socks I've ever owned. If you are looking for soft, cushioned, and warm socks that cuddle your feet while still being breathable- these are it! I love the Nordic design, and the inside of the socks are SO soft! My feet are so tender when it is cold and good socks are important to me, so the 80% merino wool, the fit with no slouching, and the way they are neither too lose nor too tight is important. The mix of other fibers contribute to durability, either way I will not be throwing these in the dryer. For this price, I don’t t hing you can beat it! These socks are AMAZING! I live in the midwest and winters can be brutal. I do work in an office all day, so I generally stay nice & warm. However, my feet can't seem to decide if they want to be cold or sweaty. Usually its both. The first thing I do when I get home from work is take off my socks and put on clean, dry ones. I don't have to do that with these socks. I don't know what kind of magic they are instilled with, but my feet stay warm (but not too warm) and dry all day. Definitely keep my feet warm all day! Love the thickness, the non-itchiness. I have washed and worn all 5 purchased pairs (bought one pair of knee socks, too), and they are my first choice go-to for everyday winter wear indoors and out. After a few washings (cold water wash, air dry), they are a tad uncomfortably tight at top, despite the stretchy and wide band. Not so tight that I need to adjust them during the day (I tend to forget they are on, something I cannot say about all socks I wear), certainly not so tight that I feel a need to snip the tops, but tight enough to leave visible marks for many minutes after removing them.
