Powerful, easy-to-clean food processor

Good CustomerFebruary 14, 2026✓ Verified purchase

Powerful, easy-to-clean food processor that both bakers and meat lovers will actually use. My wife and I have been using the Ninja NF705BRN Professional XL Food Processor for everything from vegetables to meats to grains, and it has been a workhorse in our kitchen. It has plenty of muscle (1200 peak watts) and doesn’t struggle when you’re processing tougher ingredients. What we appreciate most is how practical it is day to day. Cleanup is simple since the bowl and accessories are dishwasher safe, and it’s not as loud as some other processors we’ve owned, which makes it nicer to use regularly. The attachments are genuinely useful, not just filler. The chop/quad blade makes quick work of meat and veggies, and the dough blade has been great for my wife’s pastry projects. The slicing and shredding discs get used constantly, and the included storage box is a nice touch because it keeps everything organized instead of rattling around in a drawer. The 12-cup bowl is a good size for family batches, meal prep, and entertaining, so we’re not stuck doing everything in tiny loads. If you want a kitchen device that feels built to last and actually earns its counter space, we’d recommend this one without hesitation. Read more

Ninja Food Processor - a Real Game Changer

KMac8281March 1, 2026✓ Verified purchase

From the moment I took it out of the box, I was impressed by how simple it was to set up; the instructions are easy to decipher, and every part clicks easily into place, effortlessly. Taking it apart for cleaning is just as easy — no struggling, no complicated latches, just a straightforward design. The controls are clear, the functions are powerful, and it handles everything...chopping, slicing, shredding, etc. I love that I can go from prep to cleanup in minutes, which makes cooking that much more enjoyable. This Ninja is sturdy and no worries about it moving off your counter when using; the suction cups are more than adequate. If you're looking for a reliable, easy-to-use/clean food processor, this Ninja is absolutely worth it! Read more

Needed a new food processor and just did not want to break the bank on a Cuisinart. I got a great deal on this one and honestly, it has a lot more settings and even more power than an equivalent Cuisinart for less than half the price. Of course the first thing I did was a throw an onion quartered into it and hit the chop button. The automatic settings somehow know when it's done and this onion was perfectly diced. Anyone that has ever tried to do this knows it never chops up evenly that quick. The large multi-level blade just moves everything around for very quick and efficient work. Hummus comes out smooth and creamy and perfect. It feels really good so you don't have to worry about any spillage if you accidentally overfill it a bit. It's also way quieter than my old one which sounded like a jet engine taking off. Overall, I can't be happier with the price point and the quality of this item. Read more

Loving it!

I have to confess that I was planning on keeping my Cuisinart forever, and just replacing the plastic parts as they broke. I was totally sure that no other food processor could be as good as it.... and I was totally wrong. A plastic safety feature broke off 2 days before Thanksgiving and I panicked because I couldn't find anyplace to get a new part in time. So I spent an hour or so reading reviews for other food processors and chose this one. I bought it from Amazon because they could deliver it the next day, whereas the closest store I could pick one up was 6 hours away. I am telling you this so you understand that this was a desperation purchase. But I could NOT be happier. The first thing I noticed was that the turning mechanism was NOT part of the base, so there was no hole in the bottom of the plastic bowl like I was used to. This means that when I turn it on, that initial surge wouldn't make stuff drip out of that center hole and get all over the food processor. It also means that if you want to soak it when you are done, the water won't be pouring out of that hole - you can fill the bowl totally up with water. The lid has a gasket so if you overfill the bowl, it all stays inside when you turn it on. The chute is SOOO nice - no more of the funky extra piece that my Cuisinart had that makes it VERY difficult to clean when you are done. When you use the disk, it is low enough that any vibrations are NOT going to reduce the life span of the bowl, but high enough for you to put a reasonable amount of stuff inside before needing to remove some to add more. When I made a smoothie with frozen strawberries, the machine did it absolutely effortlessly. The chopping blade is amazing - the amount of time it takes for this gadget to chop everything into beautiful tiny pieces is miniscule - I was still putting stuff in the top when I noticed how well everything was already chopped. It has suction cups on the bottom to hold it in place, which is also VERY nice, since my Cuisinart liked to take a tour of my countertops. All 3 accessories fit inside the food processor for storage (I don't know if the dough one would fit in there as well, but I will never use that). There are just a few things that I would like to see improved. The main one is that when you are done, all the lights start flashing. If you have sensory issues like I do, you may want to think twice before buying this - it make my heart start racing and I can't turn the thing off fast enough! I would like the chute to be wide enough that I could put a whole cucumber in it to be sliced. I would REALLY like another disk that could make thicker slices, and I totally understand that it wouldn't fit inside for storage. And it is going to take some time to get used to the pusher. It fits in the chute SO well, that when I first opened up the box, I thought it wasn't included - only to later realize that it was already on the pusher. And I am still having that trouble 2 weeks later - not realizing that it is there until I put something in the chute and nothing comes out - LOL. My Cuisinart's pusher was white plastic, so it was obvious, unlike this one that is made of the same material as the rest of it. But in general, I am very happy with my purchase and would highly recommend it. Oh - and one more thing. The bowl is higher than I am used to, and I was having trouble getting all the tiny garlic pieces off the sides of it. What I did was fill the bowl with water and dump it into a strainer. Ta da - the bottom of the strainer was full of the garlic, which I could easily put into my wok! Read more

Happy with it

Retired my old discontinued Cuisinart model (the plastic replacement bowl cost was very high) so decided to try Ninja. It takes a few uses to get used to the differences from fitting the parts and securing the top onto the bowl, but after that grace period I’m truly loving this machine. My only small complaint is crevices under the rubber seals can be a bit tricky to clean. With that said this is a high quality and very efficient kitchen tool at a very fair price. Read more
