I purchased the Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller for Christmas to accompany the new Nintendo Switch 2, and it was a huge hit! From the moment it was unwrapped, you could tell this controller was high quality. The design feels premium and comfortable in your hands, even during long gaming sessions. The buttons are responsive, the analog sticks are smooth and precise, and the overall build feels sturdy and well-made. It connects easily and performs flawlessly with no lag or issues. Best gift ever. Read more
I bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday and we’ve been using it over the joycons ever since. It works really well and I haven’t noticed any kind of lag or anything from it. It also feels very high quality and has a really nice texture to it. It feels very smooth and soft. It connects to the switch even when it’s off so when it’s on its dock and connected to the tv all I have to do is pick up the controller and press the home button and the switch turns on. The grey color on top I thought would be ugly but it looks so much better in person. The charger also hooks into the dock which is nice so we can just leave it charging when not in use. The ergonomics are also very good. It fits nicely in my boyfriend’s larger hands and my smaller hands with comfortable access to everything. Read more
The Switch 2 Pro Controller is amazing! It feels super comfortable to hold, even during long play sessions, and the buttons and sticks are incredibly smooth. Larger hands might have a little more trouble reaching the rear buttons since the controller is slightly smaller than its predecessor, but overall the grip feels much more natural. The analog sticks are some of the smoothest I’ve ever used on a controller. Time will tell if they hold up long-term, but right now they feel fantastic. I love the addition of the two extra buttons on the back, which you can map to anything. They make certain games much easier—especially if you’re looking to be a bit more competitive. The battery life is excellent, lasting around 40 hours, and it charges faster than the old Pro Controller. It’s also lighter, which helps reduce hand fatigue. And with USB-C charging, it’s super convenient. The only drawback is the price tag at $89 USD. While that’s definitely on the higher side, the controller feels premium compared to third-party options that cost about half as much. If you play your Switch often, I think it’s absolutely worth it. I was shocked at how good this controller is, especially considering that the Pro Controller V1 was just “fine.” It’s hard to put into words just what’s so great about it, but it feels so well built and comfortable in your hands. The face buttons are huge and they feel great to push. The sticks are great too. They raised the - and + buttons so you can easily distinguish them from the screenshot and home buttons by feel alone. Lastly, the battery life is absurdly good. It lasts weeks of daily playing on a single charge and it quick charges very fast. Read more

These are the best controllers for the Switch 2. Just spend the extra if you want something reliable. I tried one of the cheaper 3rd party controllers before and the wake feature didn’t work and one of the buttons ended up getting stuck so I sent it back. This controller has been great and no issues. This controller's great. It has a luxurious plastic feel to it, and everything on it functions well. Button pressing is smooth, the joysticks are quiet and also really smooth, and the addition of the extra buttons on the back is also a nice touch. Not sure what to use it on yet... Oh, also, 40 hours of playtime off of a 2-3 hour charge is insane! This controller is amazing to say the least. The only problem I have with it is the price. Really... expensive... EDIT: After using this controller for a while, I've noticed a drawback. Occasionally, when flicking the left joystick (or possibly both joysticks), it sometimes causes the joystick to flick in the opposite direction once I release it. I'm a big Smash Bros. player, so this is a reoccurring issue unfortunately. Read more
This is a great controller! Charges through USB directly into the switch 2. Has tilt control for Zelda and Mario Kart. Really easy to get used to and more comfortable in your hand than other systems pro controllers. Read more
