Then I put in a new one out of the package and still no power but it did a flash of blue light for a second each time I pushed power. So, I trashed it and kept everything else. I bought these suction cups to right a "shy" nipple. It's not inverted at all, but it also isn't as perky as it should be, a problem when breastfeeding. These suction cups do pull the nipple out from hiding and enlarge it. And the effects last longer than a few hours, at least in my case, they actually lasted for days. The more you use them, the bigger your nipples will "grow" and the longer they will stay that way. The suction is very good for me. In fact, the cups can hurt a bit when I first put them on, but this disappears within a few minutes. If you're using them for a "shy" nipple like I am, or an inverted one, you'll be able to see the nipple pulled into the cup. I like this very much. I like to see that the suction cups are working. I usually leave my cups on most of the day when I'm home. Make sure the suction cup is placed correctly over the nipple. If you don't, it's possible to get a blood blister, similar to the kind you can get when breastfeeding a particularly voracious baby. I can't give you any medical information about what to do if you do get one since I'm not a medical person and not qualified. I can only tell you to Google it or ask a physician.
