I’ve spent plenty of years hauling gear in old canvas duffels, but when it came time to get something for my daughters—who are 11 and 13—and my wife, I ended up with this pink NISHEL double-layer bag. My wife really likes this one, and after seeing it in action during a quick trip to visit family, I’m giving it five stars for being practical and well-built. The best feature, by far, is that separate bottom compartment for shoes. I don't care how clean your shoes are, you don't want them touching your clean shirts, and this keeps them completely isolated. The bag is surprisingly large, too. My girls can pack enough for a three-day weekend without having to sit on the zipper to get it closed. It’s got plenty of pockets for their gadgets and hair stuff, and the material feels thick enough to handle being tossed around in the trunk or under an airplane seat. It even works great for hauling around the gear for our Maltipoo, Joy, when she tags along. If I had to find a dislike, the color is definitely loud. It’s a very bright pink that stands out in a crowd, which isn't exactly my style, but the girls love it and it makes the bag easy to spot on a luggage carousel. Also, the shoulder strap could use a bit more padding if you really load it down with heavy items. For the price, I think it’s a great value. You’re getting a lot of organization for a reasonable cost, and it feels like it’ll actually last more than a season. I really like how versatile this bag is. It has a detachable and adjustable shoulder strap, so you can carry it as a crossbody, or use the two smaller straps and make it a shoulder bag. I love a bag with a luggage strap so it can safely sit on top of my luggage, and this has it! It has a ton of really nice pockets: a zip one in the front for easy to grab items, such as a phone or passport. The side pockets are big and deep enough for a larger water bottle. I didn't think my larger laptop would fit in the interior laptop pocket. To my surprise, it did! I just really have to stretch the elastic strap if I want to secure it more. It has two typical interior pockets, good for smaller items. The bottom storage area is really nice. I would be able to keep a lot of things separate from the main compartment if I needed to, such as shoes which they mention in their description. I like the muted pink color, and it is very padded. Seems like it would be comfortable to travel with. The shoulder strap has a little adjustable cushion cover. I only travel with a carry on and personal item and I recently went on a two week trip. I packed this as an extra "just in case" bag for any potential souvenir shopping. I was able to flatten it out and put it on one side of my carry on case. I then just put the rest of my things on top of it. It didn't take up that much room in my case, which I appreciated. I think you could also fold this down pretty tightly too and it would still work well. The material is really lightweight. I like that it has two strap options, the sling strap was especially handy for me. While I love how squishy the bag is, it was a little bit of a pain to try and fill it. It would just kind of flop over until you had enough stuff in it to keep it up. I also love the idea of the bottom pocket but I thought it took away from the space of the top. The pink color is pretty but I could see it getting kind of dingy looking over time. I would love an option in black. I packed this to the brim and it held up really well. I used this bag for a four day weekend trip and it worked perfectly. I was able to fit four days worth of clothes, two pairs of shoes, toiletries, and a pair of sandals with some extra space left over. The bag feels light but sturdy and well made. The material reminds me of a winter coat turned into a bag. It makes that soft rustling sound when you move it around, but it feels strong, durable, and dependable. Inside, the main compartment there are three pockets. One is large enough to hold an iPad and the other two are great for smaller items like chargers, power banks, or other personal products. The separate bottom compartment is the best feature of this bag. It keeps wet or dirty items separate from clean clothes, which is really convenient. The overall design is cute, functional, and perfect for casual travel. For $31 (at the time of this review) I think the value is exactly right for what you get. The only thing I would change is to use slightly higher quality material to make it feel a little more premium. Aside from that, this is an excellent travel bag that I would definitely recommend. This is perfect for a weekender bag! It has lots of space, multiple pockets, and a separate pouch on the bottom for shoes or separating dirty items. It did come folded up in the package, so it came out pretty wrinkly, so I'm hoping if I let it air out and hang for a bit it'll smooth out. I love the color! It's nice that it has the option of a shoulder strap or shorter carrying straps. Read more
