I ordered 2 of them. Both showed up earlier than expected. They were packaged well in their original boxes. One of them looks brand new with no noticeable defects. The other one has some wear on the bell, but other than that it looks new as well. Set up was easy, had to download the app and connect to them to unlock. Can't comment on the battery life at this point, but the speed is as advertised getting up to 19mph but stays steady at 17mph. Brakes work well and you can definitely notice the benefit of the pneumatic tires vs the ones that are just rubber tires that you see on here for the same price. May end up buying another one. I never had an adult sized scooter before, and found they were a bit expensive to splurge on. NIU is a globally recognized brand so I rolled the dice on this renewed one. We have had it for about 9 months so far and put some miles on it since we got it so I think it’s a good time for a review. It arrived quickly and was packaged well, however I did notice a scuff/indent on the plastic housing near the rear wheel. It appeared someone had dropped it on something before returning it. I reached out to the seller and they were quick to apologize and offered to replace it with another unit, which I declined because it’s overall function was fine and it was hard to notice unless you looked at it. But it was nice to know they have great customer service. My scooter was not binded to anyone’s account and I was able to get it set up after a few minutes in the app. It was my first e-vehicle and I used it for several months to run around our campus at work. Eventually I got the itch for a bike so I brought it back home. My wife and I ride Aventon Aventure e bikes now and our kids ride electric scooters when we go to the local park. My oldest has taken over this thing and absolutely loves it. It’s quick, the battery lasts a very long time, and it’s stable at higher speeds. Brakes aren’t spectacular but they do the job (I also weigh close to 300lbs, so there’s also that). He has really been enjoying it and I am still very pleased with my purchase. Definitely recommend. This scooter was listed as "refurbished...to be fully functional " - IT WAS NOT. I expected there might be blemishes and minor dings but what arrived was defective. As soon as we got it out of the package we noticed the stem lock had a deep crack that circumscribed almost half of the lock on one side. This was not only not functional but also dangerous. It is hard to see how this was not noticed when refurbished. The gasket at the base of the stem was loose and cracked completely through providing no seal to the electronic compartment. Additionally, the sloping area of the deck below the stem was distorted to the point that the plate underneath the slop could not be properly fit and protruded about 3/4 of an inch along one side. It had simply been jammed in as far as they could get it. At this point it was clear that the scooter needed to be returned so we did not inspect the rest of it, we simply started to repack it for return. While a free shipping label was provided for this we were required to haul the repacked item to a UPS store. The size precludes simply putting it into a car and we will be required to find some way to transport it. So this whole purchase has been an expensive, inconvenient big disappointment. I would strongly recommend you look elsewhere for your scooter and save yourself the frustration. Read more

Didn't receive the charger, screws, and valve extension at original delivery but they sent the missing items after reaching out to them. I've been riding the scooter for a week now and have had no issues. couple dings on the scooter but that was to be expected. Great purchase! Read more

This scooter is amazing. You can’t even tell it is refurbished and the quality is great. There is an app where you can customize your scooter and track your rides. It has features like cruise control and you can customize how fast or slow it goes and how the brakes react. Definitely recommend. Read more
