I'm using the scrub and the face wash before shave. There is a noticeable quality increase in shave, less skin irritation. I used to have reddening on the side of my cheek, now it's no longer there. Face is smooth and good looking. After shave I used a lotion, I have many, any lotion, for example old spice, and then nivia post shave balm. Face is smoother and more good looking than ever. Recently started shaving with a double-edge safety razor, and getting closer shaves than ever before - so I felt my face might benefit from a bit of extra TLC. This product does a great job keeping my skin hydrated after a shave. It is lighter than a typical lotion, and a little goes a long way. I apply it after rinsing while my face is still wet. It does not sting, since there's no alcohol or menthol or other "cooling" ingredients. The scent is pleasant and very mild. It does not interfere with cologne scent.
