This product does a great job keeping my skin hydrated after a shave. It is lighter than a typical lotion, and a little goes a long way. I apply it after rinsing while my face is still wet. It does not sting, since there's no alcohol or menthol or other "cooling" ingredients. The scent is pleasant and very mild. It does not interfere with cologne scent. I've never used any other shave balm so I have no comparison other than to lotion. I prefer this. Read more

I like the scent of the balm and it does an excellent job on my skin. Unfortunately, the cap is terribly designed and doesn't stay on easily. Don't be surprised if it falls off and the bottle spills if you pick it up by the cap. I much prefer a squeeze bottle with a flip-top cap. Read more
