Light, comfortable hydration with a nicely-mild scent.
Recently started shaving with a double-edge safety razor, and getting closer shaves than ever before - so I felt my face might benefit from a bit of extra TLC. This product does a great job keeping my skin hydrated after a shave. It is lighter than a typical lotion, and a little goes a long way. I apply it after rinsing while my face is still wet. It does not sting, since there's no alcohol or menthol or other "cooling" ingredients. The scent is pleasant and very mild. It does not interfere with cologne scent. I've never used any other shave balm so I have no comparison other than to lotion. I prefer this. Read more

Good product, bad cap
I like the scent of the balm and it does an excellent job on my skin. Unfortunately, the cap is terribly designed and doesn't stay on easily. Don't be surprised if it falls off and the bottle spills if you pick it up by the cap. I much prefer a squeeze bottle with a flip-top cap. Read more

Soothing (even on the head )after shaving. Light slightly soapy smell. You don’t need much for application. Don’t use as much as regular after shave. Doesn’t have the drying affect that alcohol has yet closes up and helps the skin. Read more
