Unexpectedly Fantastic Weightless and Effective

Noelle KristineSeptember 18, 2023

I used to love a tan but at 50, I’m all about protecting my skin. I’ll admit I had a tanning salon membership many years ago so the damage is done but no sense in making things worse. I’ve tried just about every type of sunscreen under the sun ( 😁, no pun intended). Everything from zinc oxide, titanium, physical sunscreens , and chemical sunscreens. I’ve tried tinted , non-tinted, sticks, creams, high-end and drugstore. I consider myself well versed in what’s out there and this sunscreen turned out to be a game changer for me personally. Its incredibly smooth and light, almost like a hydro-gel in the way it melts into your skin. It’s immediately absorbed and then disappears- no shine, no white cast, no waiting for dry down. I don’t wear a lot of foundation, but when I do they play well together. It’s a pleasure to reapply. I actually enjoy doing it throughout the day because it’s so cool, soothing and moisturizing. Plus, it’s invisible so no walking around with a rouge white streak when using it on the go. MOST importantly it’s actually effective. In my experience, it’s as good if not better then the 50SPF you buy in the US. Sometimes it’s hard to known exactly what level of SPF you’re getting with overseas products but the true test is to wear it out in the sun and see what happens. I wore this throughout August and surprisingly the skin on my face has been gradually lightening up to its natural tone. I guess I wasn’t getting great protection before, some rays were getting through in summer no matter what SPF I used. I think it’s because I hated reapplying sunscreen during the way. Maybe the “ease of use” is what makes this so effective. My husband and teenage son requested I order more and they hate wearing sunscreen! I’d love a tinted version so I could nix the BBCream altogether and make getting ready just one step. This size is great for carrying around with you but I wouldn’t mind an economy size bottle to keep at home. I’ve had this bottle about 2.5 months and it’s still going strong, even with multiple reapplications throughout the day. Lastly, you can’t argue with price! Read more

If you hate the way sunscreen feels, BUY THIS

WashkosJune 23, 2024

This is magic in a bottle. I am Scandinavian and very pale, and I know I need sunscreen daily but I HATE either the feel or smell of every single American sunscreen I have ever tried. Japanese sunscreens were recommended to me by a friend and this one a familiar name, had good reviews, and was a good size for the price. This sunscreen is just... easy. Has a nice pump, the product is light and thin, goes on easily, doesn't smell weird (the little bit of mild scent disappears quickly) and most of all... it feels AMAZING. No white cast, no greasiness, no heaviness, no pilling. One minute after I put it on, I forget it's there, while with American sunscreen I am constantly aware of the greasy, heavy feeling on my face and neck. I don't know how well this would hold up to heavy sweating or a ton of activity, and while not expensive, it's not really cost effective to use on the whole body or for. an entire day in the sun. But for everyday life (which is where we really get the majority of our lifetime sun exposure) this is a holy grail item. I use it on my face, neck, and arms/hands every day. To sum up: If you've read this far, just BUY IT! Read more

Stop your search, this is the one

I can not stress enough how amazing this sunscreen is. I have tried so many different sunscreens over the past couple years, basically everything off the shelf you'd find at Target, Walmart, etc. Even the best rated "oil free, face sunscreens" left me with a white cast, feeling super oily, and causing me to breakout bad. Don't even get me started on the feeling of those cheap sunscreens getting in your eyes after you sweat a little. As I embark on another toasty Phoenix, Arizona summer I knew I had to find something better. I researched a fair bit online, and landed here. Can I understand what it says on the package? Absolutely not, but it does not matter, because IT WORKS SO WELL. It feel like a soothing moisturizer when applying, and absorbs in super quickly. It spreads evenly, and leaves no sticky feeling or white casting. I went out on a two hour hike on a sunny day, the results? No burns, so comfortable I forgot I even applied it, no stickiness, no oiliness, and no irritation in my eyes even after working up a good sweat. The sunscreen does not have much of a scent too which I appreciate. The bottle also came with a little plastic protective part to prevent the pump from dispensing if you don't intend to, which I quite enjoy for traveling. I have every intent in buying again and no longer buying those common names from the big box stores. Read more

Best sunscreen for sensory sensitivity

Jean ShoafDecember 15, 2025

The best sunscreen I’ve found for autism sensory sensitivity! If you can’t stand the feeling of sunscreen on your skin, this stuff is super lightweight and thin, so it dissolves into the skin and feels like nothing. Read more

Good value, the pump is a lifesaver for ADHD people like me lol

Needed a cheaper dupe for the light blue hada labo sunscreen tub, if you know you know. Honestly, they are similar in price, but having a pump sunscreen that melts into my skin is amazing and more hygienic. This is my favorite. It’s watery, easy to use. I’m lazy with skincare. If it takes too much effort, I’m not doing it. I like 10 in 1 type stuff. And this reminds me of that. If I put this on, my makeup goes on well. I have to let it dry first. Not as good of a primer replacement as the hada labo one though. I don’t fully trust that this won’t pill with certain products. But that is normal tbh. I use the Estée Lauder 24hr matte Foundation and LA girl concealer, no pilling with those. No issues with powder either. Like I said, as long as u let it dry it works. Which happens quickly. It’s like putting slightly thickened angelic fresh water on your skin. It’s lovely. Helps me remember to wear sunscreen and I love it. Read more

Best screen protector I have used. Water based is a must go. Feels good in your face, it is easy to travel with it because it is not a lot of liquid, and even my mom who is 60+ loves it! Read more
