This functions Great - it reduces pine needles clogging the windshield drain pipe. 4 yrs ago, water backed up and drained onto the front passenger floor area of my 2013 Subaru Outback. I couldn't find the cause and the floor stayed wet during a week of heavy Oregon rains. I brought it to my car dealer, who discovered pine needles had clogged the windshield drain pipe. Every rainy season afterwards, I check the car floor for Water which stressed me out. Where I live, we do have a few weeks of icy rain and snow every winter season. This windshield cover is Perfect! It's a mid-weight liner, which works perfect to handle for one person. Windy days the liner upper part gets folded down BUT pine needles aren't accumulating in the wiper well! I didn't want to place the side-flaps inside the car windows due to other reviews discussing water saturation dripping inside the car. I love the 2 straps that fit around the side mirrors and elastic strap that I can hook to wheel covers. These keep the liner securely in place. I just hope the straps don't rip...maybe less temp fluctuations and lack of severe winds in the rainy northwest reduces chances for elastic damage. Durability is hard to measure and depends on area weather conditions. The cost is comparable to many others - the windshield snow scrapper is cute but I already have a couple due to living 18 yrs in Maine winters. I am beyond happy with this purchase. I think a (tent) vinyl repair kit will be in my cargo hold just in case....but I'd definitely purchase this windshield cover again!! 😀 Read more
I was surprised by how heavy and well-made this Nmoiss snow cover feels. The fabric is thick and sturdy, not like those flimsy ones that tear after one storm. It stayed in place even during strong wind and heavy snow. Totally worth it! Read more
