No Nonsense Womens Ponte Knit Pintuck Legging

These are not at all sheer and the little pintuck stripe down the front of each leg makes them dressier than regular leggings. They wash up beautifully, too. I normally wear a size 8 Long in pants, I ordered this in a Large and they are perfect. Not skin tight but I didn't want skin tight and they are certainly long enough. The waist is comfortable and well sewn so it does not roll down when sitting as some other leggings do, nor am I constantly pulling them up thtoughout the day. I bought these in 2019...they are just now , in 2024, starting to wear down - and I wear them at least twice a week. They are thicker than most leggings, the stitching/piping seam creates a more professional look to them, and they fit amazing! I normally wear a 2X and the XL fits me perfectly, even through 5 years of weight ups and downs :) I'm a teacher and they move with me through the day, the ups/downs/squats/kneeling/sitting/reaching/all of it. Loved the leggings. Problem was in size small, they didn't fit my butt and they were much too long. Felt they didn't run to size. Recently bought same brand tights in small and they fit perfectly, which was what prompted me to buy leggings. Very disappointed. Read more

LOVE the seam down the front. LOVE the material, which is slightly thicker than typical leggings, so has more structure and therefore more modesty. The size chart needs explaining: The waist measurement is accurate but the number listed is when the fabric is RELAXED. So I got the size which matched my waist size number. But when they arrived, they were way too big! The reason is because SOME size charts will list “fits waists UP TO…” and the give the maximum measurement the elastic will stretch to. THESE start at the measurement and stretch up from there! So if your waist is 30, order the size a couple inches LESS than 30…. Otherwise the relaxed fabric measures 30 and stretches up to 35 and you might find the size your carefully measured TOO BIG! This was no problem for me because I sew, so I just took in the side seams from the waist. Now they are perfect—- SO perfect in every other way that I ordered ANOTHER pair—- but one size smaller. THEY are perfect straight out of the shipping box! Do launder them first, however— the black smells of chemical and bleeds all over until you’ve washed them at LEAST once. They seem to take the dryer just fine but just to avoid issues I will probably air dry both my pair from now on. I am happy with this item— pants leggings, sort of: enough “body” to wear as pants but comfy as leggings. Read more

These leggings are the worst. If you are a short, fat woman with no fashion sense or sensory feeling in your legs, then these No Nonsense leggings might work for you. But if you are like me, then you may find these to be enormous in the waist, baggy in the crotch and barely long enough in the leg. They have tacky pintuck detailing that isn't remotely flattering and is difficult to center. They are itchy as all hell, even after washing. Am 5'8" and ordered the large. Never again. These were just what I was looking for. They're a nice thick fabric and the seam down the front makes them a little more dressy. They fit really well and did not stretch out across the day. Unfortunately, after only one day of wear they have started pilling and in strange places like the backs of my calves. If I were going to get pilling, which is ridiculous after only one wear, I would expect it to be the thighs and rear area from sitting. There is some minor pilling there, but very noticeable pilling on the backs of the calves. I'm at a complete loss as to how that would even happen and am really disappointed about that. Read more
