However, when charging your devices, several factors cause a reduction in usable capacity due to the following physical and technical principles: Heat energy loss: During charging, the battery generates heat, which consumes part of the stored energy. Internal consumption: The electronic components of the battery's printed circuit board consume approximately 10% of the energy. Losses related to the charged device: Charged devices, such as smartphones, also consume energy in the form of heat, accounting for about 12%. Voltage conversion: Converting the battery's internal voltage (3.7V) to the output voltage (5V) results in an energy loss of around 12%. Taking these factors into account, approximately 35% of the energy is consumed during the entire charging process.
