I got the Nodoca Laptop Storage to make my office space more clear and tidy. I initially tried to attach it to my desk that had a top 2" thick and the clamp was too small and the description did say 2" but it's really a few cm thinner than that so be aware that it's more like 1.75". I do have a thinner side table beside my desk that I used instead. Installation was simple and took about 1-2 min. Easy! I use an HP desktop mini for work and this barely slid inside. I am aware this item is meant for more thinner items like laptops, tablets etc so if you plan to use this on thicker items, measure it! Anything thinner than 3cm or 1.25" will work. Length is not an issue since the clamps are adjustable. The build of the clamps are very sturdy and made out of metal with some good weight to it. There is also rubber padding on the inside to prevent scratches but it's very thin. I would still be careful moving things in and out because some of the edges aren't padded. The hooks are little long for my taste but I've been able to put many things on it like headsets and cables. So far I am very happy with this product. It's helped me get more desk space, have better cable management control and it looks nice. Just measure your equipment prior to ordering. Read more
My kid has a small computer desk, so surface space is at a premium. Since we have his laptop connected to a monitor, there is no reason for it to take up space; ergo, this seemed like a perfect solution. The brackets are of solid construction and were easy to install. Unfortunately, they did not work all that well on our desk, but that was due to the construction of the desk, not due to any design issues with the brackets. We actually just ordered another desk and are excited to use this with it. That said, if your desk has a sufficient lip on which to clamp, this is a great solution that supports a variety of laptop shapes and sizes. Read more
I was looking for something that would hold both my laptop and tablet on the side of my end table next to the couch and this was the perfect solution. Very sturdy and I trust it to hold both devices without worry. They clamp tightly to the overhanging piece of my end table and do not slide easily. In fact, I was trying to slide them to adjust the width but they wouldn't slide apart so i had to undo them in order to move them. Read more
This is a nice quality pair of desk hooks that together can provide a holding place for a closed laptop, as well as two hangers for other computer equipment such as headphones and gaming supplies. You simply move them closer together or further apart, adjusting for the width of the device it will be holding, before clamping them onto the surface where you want it installed. It holds very securely and seems quite durable. This is a nice for when you have multiple systems and need to keep one of them stored out of the way, or for times when you want your desk or another surface entirely cleared off and usable. I put my Chromebook in it when I'm using the desktop for drafting, as well as hang my headphones from it. I also sometimes slide books down in it or files while I'm working, when it doesn't have a computer in it, so it can provide temporarily more working and organizing space, as well. The laptop sits vertically, but won't get damaged because it doesn't move around and there is protective padding to keep it from getting banged or scratched up. It's been working great for me so far. This is an excellent stand to save some space on my desk. It can also be used to hold my headphones and organize my desk. The stand is sturdy and well-built. I do not worry that it can hold my laptop. Including a strap to secure my laptop would be great to avoid any accidents. Read more
