To be completely honest I didn't have high expectations for this shave gel to begin with, I've used gels before from known brands in the past and they always were a let down compared to a thick cream, but this shave gel exceeded and perhaps surpassed all other shave product's I've used; definitely the best gel ever for sure. It glides on easy and even more impressive is that a little goes a long way. The results on your skin are completely clear, so you're able to see exactly which hairs your shaving so you're not left guessing like with a foam or cream. This provided exceptional razor glide and hydration, and I experienced zero irritation and no razor burn at all. Even more impressive is that my shave edge line was very sharp and crisp. This is perhaps on par with my favorite shaving cream to be honest, I'll need more use to determine. I pretty much wrote off gels in the past, but this product has made me consider wanting to switch back. I think this would be absolutely perfect and ideal for use when traveling since you need to us a lot less compared to creams, and the gel is a lot easier to transfer to a travel bottle, and it's easier to squeeze and get out of a bottle. This works alright. It is not special to me, but it is alright. I prefer foams, but wanted to try this. I do get a close shave. Not a huge fan of the scent though. If you like non foaming shave gels, this might be a good option for you. Read more

Seems fine. Not sure if the non-foaming aspect is beneficial or not, but it works fine. I keep my hair short so every now and then I use an electric razor to shave my head completely bald (it means less time between having to cut my hair next). It never occurred to me till a few months back that using shaving cream might help...and it does. So this stuff is a boon. But I cant say how well it works on faces, I use normal hair clippers to "shave" my face so no need for shaving cream. Read more

I shave my head every day in the shower, and I saw this gel and figured I'd try it out. Right away, I noticed it was very different from what I am used to. I'm used to shaving cream that gets really foamy, but this is more like a slick lotion, and it's got a pretty strong smell. When I shaved with it, it didn't feel as smooth as my usual shave cream. I was hoping it would be good for me, but honestly, I think the foamy gels work better for me. Also, and this is just my opinion, the smell is way too much. It's supposed to be fresh, but it reminds me of that cheap aftershave smell. I think this gel will work for some people, but it's just not for me. Read more

Although this is a review of a free product, I give you my word that my reviews will always be unbiased and truthful. I was a bit surprised by the mixed reviews of this shaving gel. I really enjoy the scent, and I think it does a great job with shaving. I've used it on my face, and on the boys down below, and I got a nice close shave in both places. I like that it is transparent and you can easily see what you are shaving. It provided the perfect amount of lubrication for the razor to just glide over the skin. It rinsed off cleanly and easily. What's not to like? A little goes a long way, so the price isn't too bad for how much you get. As far as I'm concerned, it's a winner! Read more

I like to shave in the shower, but this stuff didn't hold up well at all. It dissolved so quickly that I ended up shaving about a quarter of my face without any real lubrication before I switched back to my trusty Nivea shave cream, which actually lasts through a shower shave. To make matters worse, the scent is a strange mix of car salesman cologne and Nickelodeon slime — definitely not my idea of a pleasant shaving experience. That said, this product found a surprising second life in my garage. I used it as a lube to help change motorcycle tires, and it worked like a charm. The narrow applicator made it easy to squirt a little into the gap between the tire and rim, making removal and installation a lot smoother. I was sceptical about this non foaming gel. I had never used something like this before. I've found that I don't need more than a quarter sized blob to shave my face. One bottle has lasted way longer than the foam I use to use. The razor glides over this easily and my disposable razor has stayed sharp a lot longer. The texture is best described as aloe Vera gel consistency and coverage. It doesn’t have a huge “slip factor” which would work better for me without sudsing or foaming up. I have to apply a little more product than usual, however, I had significantly less irritation when not rinsed as thoroughly as a soapy base. The scent is a crisp clean masculine aroma but not overpowering- The packaging is well made leak proof and has a fun design.
