Cap was right size and color but it had 4 tabs on the underside. My post could only accommodate 2 tabs opposite each other. So I’ll have to send it back. I actually wish I had ordered it a bit earlier, it would’ve been a perfect birthday present for my neighbor a few days ago. The 9mm size is just right—not too big or too small—and the design is simple, elegant, and easy to match with different outfits. I’m not an expert on telling real pearls from fake ones, but I did scratch it lightly with my fingernail and there was no paint peeling off, so that’s a good sign! Not round and they do not pass the scratch test. The base attaching the post to the pearl is extremely small. I bought these to be a place holder in my jewelry box while I had mine repaired at the jeweler. My other pair were gift from my husband that I don't have the heart to tell him broke, and I didn't want him to notice they were missing. These will be given to my neice -not even gifted, just given away. I did not return them because they were in my ears, and I think it would be unsanitary to do so. Read more
