Exactly what I needed. Keeps the dust out, and most of the water. Rain caused my cover to pool up to top of my VW bus rack, which took me by surprise. Without the rack the water will run off the top easily. Love the options to open just the front or side on either side with ties to hold open. Lightweight, easy to use, easy to put on and take off. I like the zippers to get into the driver, passenger and sliding doors. I wish it had a zipper for the cargo door for the times I wish to access the cargo door or engine. Love the straps that go under the “belly of the beast”. The first cover had the back to front strap too short and the side to side straps too long. Luckily, I have a sewing machine which I set up outside, shortened one of the side to side straps and added it onto the rear to front strap. For me, not having a camper van, the cover is too long and the wind catches under it and puts dust on the van. Plus the wind drags the cover over the dirt, scratching the paint and rubbing the grey inner lining material onto the paint. The second cover leaked. Stitches had been taken out and restitched and the whole roof area of the cover leaked. The first cover did not leak. Unfortunately the second and third cover ( I just got) have elastic in the zipper area over the driver and passenger doors so it is extremely difficult to open and close the front doors zippers. Also, the front to back tie down strap was 10” too short. I used a connector from an old cover, sewed a piece of strapping I have to that and inserted it between the front connector and the too short strap attached to the back of the cover. The reason a I buy from this company is the cover being lightweight , has tie down straps with clasps, easy to fold up (on the roof) from there I can slide it down and put in the engine deck area. Bought this cover back in 2019, it's now January 2023. The straps that hold the snap buckles deteriorated a long time ago, probably about a year in. (Just like other reviewers mentioned) The cover itself is the thin shiny material, not a thick "3-layer" but it seems to have held up okay. There are a couple of tares from the wind whipping it around and I might need to purchase a new one soon, but it kept the rain at bay till now, so... if you always just count on replacing covers, then this is an okay fitting one.
