Would buy again, but kind of a pain...read review.
Assembly took some work...but I would definitely buy again. I'm mounting an Acer Predator XB271HU bmiprz with this arm. This monitor has it's VESA mount recessed into the housing a maybe <1/4". The mount on the arm(square VESA mount) was just too big to sit in the VESA mount recession on this monitor; or the recession in the monitor housing was to small. I sanded the edges of the 'square mount part' on the arm with 100 -> 60 grit sandpaper until it fit. Woohoo, finally. There is a plastic shroud in the top arm arm section that accepts the bottom arm section. This plastic shroud had mostly slid out after I did a test fit on the 2 arm sections, I -barely- slid the bottom into the top but that shroud came out when i pulled them apart. I ended up jamming (tapping with screwdriver handle) this plastic shroud into the upper arm to the point where something happened in there and it wouldn’t nicely accept the bottom arm. After some finessing with a rubber mallet the two pieces went together and pivot just fine; there’s -maybe- a little more resistance in the pivot than I expected. This whole thing could have been avoided. All things considered, this monitor arm is great and HUGE (see picture). I’ve had a smaller NB arm for years and love it, which is why I purchased this one. The movement and flexibility of positions is great. Even given the PITA assembly, for the size and price point, I have no regrets. You're spending a lot more money if you want a better arm. -1 star for that plastic shroud debacle between the 2 arm sections. -1 star for me having to get sand paper out of the basement. +1 for size, stability, and price point.
