I also have larger legs so my shorts usually ride up when my legs rub together. It was great to see these in a larger size and 7" length. The pockets are an extra bonus as well since many times I am doing things that require me to move a lot and having zippers helps keep my items in my shorts. While I have not had the chance to compare these to other shorts value wise, I can say I feel these are pretty good for the price. Two things that I have noticed while wearing them, I still get some ride up so I have to pull them down a bit so that does not happen as often. The second thing is my zipper gets stuck sometimes on the outside flap that covers the zipper. While this can be annoying sometimes it does not take away from the value that these shorts provide.
