My last nose trimmer felt more like I was pulling them out rather than trimming them. With this one, I actually feel no pain, AT ALL! This does kind of tickle the nose but it will actually trim my nose hairs without it pulling or tugging and getting nothing but tears rather than trimmed nose hairs. When it comes to cleaning, I found its really easy to clean too. The only thing I suggest is blowing your nose first before using this. It really makes cleaning a lot easier. I did attempt to use this on my ears but found I didn't really have a lot of hair there so I can't really comment about how it works on ear hair. While it did tickle the same as my nose, again, I didn't have enough hair to really say for sure if it worked there or not. Why is it that the older you get, the more nose hair you have? This is a great gadget to have. It's lightweight, compact, and maneuverable. It is a MUCH better alternative to plucking; I get tears in my eyes just thinking that. It's also nice to not use little scissors; no nicks. This clips the hair with no pain at all! It's is to clean; it comes with a little brush. You can also use this to remove ear hair as well, but, thankfully, I don't need it for that ....yet! Recommend! Read more
