Good Value. Same Quality as small jars. Healthier than sugar. Have been buying 1 lb jars for years and finally tried the 7 lb tub. This is my third order. The color, consistency and flavor are the same as small jars. This large container needs to be stirred, and can be difficult to open. I put it into smaller 16 ounce Mason jars and refrigerate. I give as gifts (to special people). We use it in tea-hot or iced, coffee, hot toddy's, sauce for pork roast, brush it on bacon with cayenne pepper, on toast, and mix it with peanut butter for a yummy, nutritious snack. Maple cream has nutrients and a lower glycemic index; GI 54 than sugar; GI 65+. The GI of honey is approx 50. So, a slow blood sugar spike. This product arrived with maple butter/syrup leaking all over the place. I had to throw away the packaging and washed down the exterior of the bucket. I'm hesitant to open it-but it is a non-returnable item and if I got a replacement, it would likely be a mess too! Read more

I use this for the sugar in my bread recipes. It adds amazing flavor and beautiful browning. The directions say to refrigerate after opening so I would not say it spreads easily. The 7 lb container is a lot and the lid is difficult to open. Still I am pleased with how well it works for my purposes. Read more
This tastes great, I couldn't tell any difference from the 1 pound size, no dark or burned taste like some other reviews mentioned. My only complaint is the consistency is thinner than some other brands. That might be a good thing if you are looking for it to be spreadable out of the fridge. It's definitely that. But the extra water implies you're getting less actual maple compared to some other brands I've tried, and that kind of undoes some of the savings you get from the bulk buy. Read more
The quality of this isn't what I thought it would be. It has a slight taste of mold it was dark and separated had to stir and even then I'd just rather buy it in the smaller jars. Read more
