I have a regular wooden bed with headboard, and as my parents in law are visiting, we have them the wooden bed with headboard and we got this simple frame for temporary use. All the parts are metal, including the screws, making it pretty sturdy. Pretty simple to put up but need at least another person to help. Me and my parents in law got it finished in a hour. Fits my king mattress, and not too high from the ground (which is good as I have a kid), and not too low so that you can put extra stuff like thin boxes underneath. Cons I have observed so far: the first step of the instruction is not clear enough, basically you need to use the inner side of the two holes on part B to attach to part A (I did it wrong so have to unscrew the 8 screws and re-tighten them again); also for the last step, the G’s are not ‘fixed’ to the frame, but lay there, which feels a little unstable and not sturdy. Moreover, it’s not foldable and once you decide not to use it, you have to unscrew at least some of the screws, instead of a simple fold. But so far it’s working fine! Read more
