I bought these pants and I was pleasantly surprised at the fit and the look on me. These pants were fire with the scheme I had in mind! I normally wear a 34 waist but since these pants are made in a "skinny" fit, I decided to go 2 sizes up to a 38 because I suspected that if I got these in a size 34, they would fit like pantyhose and I didn't want that look. TL;DR- if you want them to for like it’s 1984, size down at least 2. They’ll stretch it’s ok. His measurements are at the bottom Got these for the hubs for our annual goofy holiday photo, this year’s theme is old school punk. Because we’re old punks. Imaginative right? He’s recently lost a few pounds and is proud to be in 32s again, but these fit more like a non-stretch 34, or a stretch 36. We’re going to keep them and hope they shrink because the price isn’t bad, but for others you might want to size down. They are very stretchy so don’t worry if you want them to be a real slim fit or have chicken legs like him. Upside is that the fabric is very comfortable, much more than the pair I got for twice the cost (which is why I steal his clothes and have a lot of belts! You guys are lucky. Girl clothes are terrible). They’re not going to be exceptionally warm, but that doesn’t matter much in Southern California because we don’t believe in real winters… The information for sizing is incorrect because it’s mine, he’s 5’10” barrel chested with thinner legs (think Tarzan from the 1940s) 44 chest 32 true waist 32 hip 25-26-ish thigh, around 175lb. Update...I loved these pants so much I bought two more. I'm a little bummed be cause the material is different and the sizing is as well. The pants still not perfectly at the waist, but one was baggie while the other was more form fitting. I still like both. And the ones that were a little baggy actually shrink a little and fits beer than before I washed it. Just be aware sizing in the legs can be inconsistent. The black with red and white stripes and the green pair are the same material, the red plaid or different and run bigger. I wear a size 32 in men's jeans, ordered a 32 and they fit perfectly. They shrink a TINY bit, but helped to become a little more form fitting. I've had tons of compliments from men and women. They are super nice quality definitely feel like dress slacks and I'm so happy with them, I've ordered two more pairs. Easy to dress up or down. Read more
