Nice lightweight hair dryer with dual mode heat and cold options with three settings each. I couldn’t tell what the Cold 3rd setting did but the Hot 3rd setting was slightly warmer than Hot 2nd setting. The hair dryer came with three different attachments, smooth nozzle, smooth nozzle with comb, and large diffuser. The attachments have to be pushed in to click into place, then can freely rotate; pull to remove. This hair dryer also came with three plastic combs. The power cord however is short: base of hairdryer to plug measures only 48”, not 5.9FT (70.8”) as advertised. There are blue LEDs inside the blower assembly which gives it a nice touch, and when you toggle the heat switch there is a colored ring that glows red or blue depending on heat setting. The fan inlet has a simple mesh screen to prevent hair ingestion, however I would still recommend caution when moving the dryer along the head if you have long loose hairs. The instructions are terribly written but the device is easy to figure out. I have no way to measure 30M negative ions, so I’m going to have to believe Novus until I can get into a lab to measure it, which will be never. Also, there is no bag or case to store your accessories, which is unfortunate. There are many other dryer options on the market, and at this price point, it seems that a simple bag to hold everything would be an easy discriminator, but it doesn’t so value wise, might not be the best. This is a really nice blow dryer. I will say that it doesn't get as hot as a traditional hair dryer, but the flow of air is so much more powerful it actually dries my hair quicker and presumably with less heat damage. It's much smaller than your average blow dryer so great for travel. Attachments all fit securely and work as intended. Read more

This hair dryer does work and is a pretty good price, but I have some issues with it as compared to another I own. It's a good size and design, fits well in my hand, and could travel well I'd imagine. It takes a good bit to dry my hair no matter what, and it seems like it does about average to other driers I've used. The part that concerns me and why I took a star off is how the attachments function. I primarily wanted this for the diffuser attachment that works with it. When popping the attachments on, they snap loudly into place. This made me feel confident it wouldn't fall off, but going to take it off was a nightmare. It felt like I was going to break something very easily as it was so sturdily adhered to the dryer. It also had a burning plastic-like smell with attachments on it, so I'm unsure if the dryer has too high of a heat level for the attachments. I only feel confident using said attachments on a low heat and air setting. Overall, a good value hair dryer for the $$, very travellable with convenient attachments, the only downside is how hard it is to switch them out and being concerned about the plastic's resistance to the heat! This is a nice hair dryer set, but there are not three speeds as advertised and it is very difficult to remove the attachments once they are put on. The set comes with three attachments: one smooth finish, one smooth finish with comb, and one diffuser, and three plastic brushes. The cord is a decent size but not very long, so you do need to be near an outlet to be comfortable. There are three temperatures on the hair dryer. Cold air blow has two speeds you can choose, gentle or medium, and the third speed trigger on the cold temp does not do anything. Warm air blow has two speeds, gentle or medium, and the third speed trigger changes the temp to hot but the speed remains medium. There is a light that will indicate if you are on cold air, warm air, or hot air which is a nice touch. I found the noise was pretty comparable with most hair dryers but it was at least quieter than a vacuum. Overall it is a decent enough hair dryer. I do wish it had more options for speed and it really was quiet. I also do not enjoy removing the attachments as they need to be pulled off with so much force I fear they will break, which makes me not even want to change them out. Read more
