I bought a smaller size of this rug at first because I was unsure how much space I would have for it, it turns out the space I needed it for was larger than I thought (we're doing a basement remodel and getting everything actually in place called for some adjustments), but my husband and I liked the look of the little rug so I went ahead and order the larger one and it's just about perfectly sized for the sitting area we have set up. I do wish it was about a foot longer and wider but it works. The colors are pretty and go well with other things we own (we both like and own a lot of teal, blue, and purple stuff) and our various pets like laying on it and the smaller one has been moved to a different spot and is still getting use. We haven't gotten either very dirty yet but it does seem like it might be hard if it needs more than a good shaking, but besides that it's a cute rug in fun pastel colors. O, this rug. As soon as I opened the box, I was impressed. The rug came in a vacuum sealed bag along and inside another little bag. As soon as I opened the sealed bag, it started to fluff. Much lighter in weight than I expected (yay!) and the back of it. OMG a rug that isnt going to peel over time! It looks like something that can be washed. And the touch. LLAWWWWWDWDD it is so soft!! I could not believe the feel of this thing. Myself and my puppy just had to lay on it and snow angel style lay across and fluff it up. This carpet is very thin, but super soft and pretty. My little girl just transitioned into a big girl bedroom and this was the final touch needed. We've been through a couple different brand rugs(do not buy shag from Walmart. They are garbage) and they never hold up. We have 3 kids ages 4 and under... So lots of accidents. Lots of stickers and normal kid messes. This carpet has held up SOOO well. It's around a year old and used heavily but looks brand new. My favorite part is that it's actually stayed fluffy and held it's shape. All of our other shag carpets get matted in the middle(where the kids set up shop to play) and slowly stretch out in weird ways. I'm so impressed. I used this in the bedroom, it is so thin I feel like walking on the tiles without any rug under my feet. I had to go and buy rug padding to put under it. I bought the 3x5 rug so I went ahead and bought the padding in 3x5 as well, but only after I received the rug and realized how thin it is. I love the colors, reminds me of cotton candy. It is soft like they advertise, but if you buy any size in this type of rug, I suggest getting the padding as well, you will definitely need it. Otherwise I'm fine with it, I just received the padding today and it sure makes a difference when walking on the rug. As the header it was only super soft n fluffy until the kiddos laid wollered n gummed it all up. It's very easy 2 clean though which was a blessing dries quick n it pops right back 2 super soft n fluffy.
