Four months of use and the chemical flavor still exists

While the product is fine, the "Aqua Filter System 1x 5 Micron Activated Coconut Carbon Block Filter" that came with it still leaves a chemical taste. I have given up on this product. Above I said the product is fine, but, I was talking about the mechanics of it. However, the strong chemical flavor still exists after 4 months of use.
