These are awesome
These have held up amazingly well in middle Tennessee! Hot summer, freezing snow and ice, and everything in between. They don't look a bit different than when I bought them. Installation was super easy, and it's great you have options for installing them. Read more
Does the job.
While definitely wouldn’t call these heavy duty they seem adequate. They assembled very well. I was going to build my own out of electrical conduit and some angle but couldn’t even buy the raw materials for what these cost. I have lights that are considered “commercial grade” 😉 on them so the lights aren’t the lightest you can get. We are in a wind prone area and have had wind advisory days lately and they have held up fine. As you can see I didn’t put them all the way up so they have a little more support. The distance between the top and bottom support is adjustable depending on height and your application. I have them spaced 6-7 feet apart and I don’t think I would space them any farther than that if I could help it. Read more

It anchors in two places making it very sturdy. I have 48’ of hanging lights strung up with these supports. Also worked well for my pre-lit garland at Christmas. Read more

Decent poles but not the the best

Great solution to the problem of how to hang your string lights!
I redid my deck this summer and wanted to add some string lights for ambiance, but I didn't have anything convenient to hang them from. These poles were the perfect solution. I purchased two sets and attached them to my deck railing posts and I was able support a string of lights around the perimeter of my deck to provide the perfect lighting. The only reason why this product didn't get 5 stars is the mounting brackets. I could not get the top right angle support bracket to correctly support the pole. Mounting the bracket against the post as provided resulted in the pole not being vertical. I had to flatten the bracket and mount it to the top of the post to have the pole be plumb. I have had the poles in place for a month and they have held up well. I would recommend the product for those looking for a convenient mounting solution for your string lights. Read more

Wouldn’t bother purchasing again. Cheaply made, one pole broke within the first month, the other pole I have standing is completely bent over ready to snap any day now. Really disappointed with this purchase. Read more
