NULASTIN Solution Serum System - Lash Serum 0 1 Fl Oz Scalp Treatment 1 7 Oz Brow Serum

I've already been using the Nulastin lash and brow serums with great results, so this review will focus on the product I hadn't tried yet - the Scalp Treatment. I have used this scalp treatment 2x day for the last 11 weeks (full disclosure, there are times that I forgot to use this for days at a time so I wasn't totally consistent). I wanted to make sure that I finished the tube before reviewing, since products like these take time to see results. While this IS expensive, I think it is worth the price. It actually works. Like WORKS works. Now that my hair has been through a growth cycle the difference between when I started and now is noticeable enough that coworkers have mentioned and asked what I was doing (and if I was using a spray product that mimics hair - I wear my hair in a high ponytail most days at work and my temples were VERY sparse before I started using this, they've filled in nicely. When baby hair started coming in I was almost annoyed because it all kind of came in at once and I looked like an alien with strands wriggling around everywhere, but now they're SO close to being heavy enough to lay down with the rest of my hair without pasting them down with hairspray). This is super easy to use, I do two pumps into my hands, smoosh them together and then wriggle onto my scalp in my temples area. Once all product is off of my hands I use the little Nulastin head massaging tool this comes with (which I'm not sure if it really does anything that fingers can't, but it feels really good and now it's like a little ritual for me). Unlike a lot of other scalp serums, you don't have to use this on clean hair, or dirty hair that you're about to wash. You can use it on freshly washed hair, and hair that you aren't planning on washing for a couple of days. I didn't get greasy or stiff where I applied it, which was a welcome change from all of the other scalp serums I've used, that required washing before my hair would look normal again. Being easy to use like this made me much more likely to use it. Girls, I have like HAIR hair at my temples now, my ponytails look so much better without semi hairless wings by my forehead. I have always wanted to try Nulastin- for years to be super blunt about it. I have struggled since high school with my eyebrows. I honestly wish I could say I was one of those that over plucked, but unfortunately that is not the case. I had a severe reaction to neosporin that resulted in just over half of one of my eyebrows never growing back. I ended up with a secondary infection from it. It took about 6 months to recover. I am talking like my eye almost swelling shut severe. So, to give you a baseline is why I am sharing what I am. I have a lot of scar tissue there so that is probably not something the average user is going to have to combat. They definitely are more likely to get adjugated when it comes to sensitivities or if I get too much sun and my skin there gets dry easier than the rest of my face. So, for over 18 years I have been very self-conscious about how they look and tried other things that are less expensive to help them grow. I ended up having microblading, that actually went fine. That has mostly started to fade when this came up and was available. I was SO excited! I have given it a full 2 months before reviewing. Because of how sensitive one is, I was a little more cautious and basically applied lotion first and then a thicker layer of the nulastin after it dried. Similar to how you kinda pancake retinol if you have sensitive-dry skin. Just as I was starting to think it wasn't working, I started noticing that the brow hairs I have were starting to darken and they were thicker and I WAS GROWING BROW HAIR! For the first time in SO many years! This is a bit of an emotional review because it has been such a self-conscious battle for me for so long. Granted, where the worst scaring is nothing has grown or changed there, but in other areas it has! Not a whole lot, but enough I have encouragement! I am not truly sure they will grow back at all in that one spot, but no one has ever told me they absolutely wont. I really can't personally afford more, but I am hopeful someone else like myself will stumble upon this and be able to try it. I have tried SO many other things and it has either further dried my skin out, not worked or just left me frustrated. For that reason... if you find yourself reading this review and think it may help you-try it! Give it time. I have used about half the brow bottle, so I have a bit to go and will happily update any further info. The brow and lash ones are super easy to use, go on with no issues and work- obviously to varying degree from my statement. The scalp treatment- my hair and scalp felt amazing after but i'm not sure it really did a lot. I have REALLY long, thick hair so I can't say that a little really goes a long way for me. I literally need over a half dollar size. It does suds well, but not like typical shampoo. The lash one-They look fuller, darker. About the same as my experience with the brow serum, but I haven't had such crazy issues in the past like my brows to provide anything super supportive. My only negative, for the cost i do wish you got more... difficult to obtain on a tight budget.. but for the first time in 18 some years, I have hope! Read more

This set is a great starter for someone that's never tried these before (hi, that's me) and although it's pricey at $210, from what I've read about these products and how well they work, it is worth it to see if it works for you. I love that you get all 3 in the set - brow, lash, and scalp treatments. Luckily for me, I have seen great results! I am nearing 40, and after Acutane and 3 pregnancies, my hair and lashes have lost a lot of their luster. I have hip-length hair that has always been fine, so I didn't expect any crazy new growth or newfound thickness to my hair, but it has seemed to help my hair grow faster and I have noticed less shedding and breakage overall. Now is the time of near where it's worst (dry New England winter) so that alone is a big win for me. I usually use a leave-in conditioner and a leave-in oil treatment daily just to get those results. My brows I don't really have an issue with their thickness (although if they could not be almost transparent, that would be great) but again, anything to combat loss that aging brings on is a win for me. So although this wasn't a high priority on my list, I'm still using it proactively. The lash serum was just as important to me to try as the scalp treatment was. I used to have full, thick, long lashes. They're still decently long but have lost so much of their fullness overtime. This serum has not only made my existing lashes softer, but I see new growth there as well which is so promising! So although the price tag on these products is definitely high (for me anyway) these things WORK. Read more
