Very sturdy! Easy to use. Convenient to pack as well. We chose this over other designs that swiveled because my daughter uses this for her drawing on a tablet. I have purchased other laptop stands before finding the Nulaxy Laptop Stand. The others were appealing because of how customizable they were. Offering many configurations although achieving them was the difficult part. Directions were helpful as it gave pre-set suggestions but lining up angles, adjusting, and ensuring the position was comfortable was VERY time-consuming. Once finding the desired position it served its purpose but were not sturdy and adjusting while working was NOT an option without a total disruption. I needed to repeat the process if I closed it and almost never ended up with the same config. I found myself leaving this setup all the time which defeated the purpose of it being collapsable. WIth the Nulaxy Laptop Stand, this was NOT the case - it was easy to adjust to my desired height and angle to maximize comfort and productivity. I was able to put it away after use without writing down angles to ensure the appropriate height. I was also able to adjust while working without having to stop and readjust everything. It was very easy to adjust, yet very sturdy once the desired configuration is achieved. This did not wobble or shake or move from the set position. It was easy to collapse after use and reassemble when needed. In short, I had some difficult experiences with other products but this has surpassed my expectations and increased my comfort and productivity. I like the design and it achieves 90% of what I expected. It's sturdy and easy to set up. I like how I can continuously tune the height and angle of the stand. I initially bought it for standing use (raising it to highest level and convert my regular dining table into a standing work station), but later realize that it is also nice to just raise my laptop a bit while I sit, which is a good relieve of my neck. Several down sides if you are looking for using the stand mostly for "standing" work: 1) although the theoretical highest position is 14 inch, you can't quite reach that. Because adjusting the stand to that height means the middle poles are basically vertical, and the center of mass of the laptop will be falling to the back of the stand, which causes the system prone to flipping over backwards. 2) even the highest position is not high enough for me -- my height is 5'6, and I use a regular dining table. I would really like to raise my laptop by another 1 - 2 inch while standing. So if you are quite tall, the "standing" feature won't quite work unless you want to add additional books etc at the bottom of this stand. 3) the stand shakes a bit if I type on the keyboard, which is a bit annoying. Yeah I know when using standing desks you are supposed to use an external keyboard, but this stand does not come with a holder for external keyboards :/ So all in all, I think this stand is a cost effective way of temporarily converting my dining table to a "standing" desk, and I like it a lot. But if you have money and space in your home office, a real standing desk is definitely a better option. For me, I'll use it in the standup configuration mostly during meetings or when I'm reading, because typing on it gets annoying. Read more

Requires a couple pounds of force to adjust, but it wouldn't be stable if it didn't given its design, since there is no mechanism locking the hinges in place. It's enough to be an issue for most, but it might not be accessible to someone who is physically disabled or a child. The hole on the top makes it easy to carry, and is conveniently placed where many laptops have their fans, making computers you use on this less likely to overheat. it also came with padding on the tabletop, keeping any laptop or tablet that is large enough slightly raised above the metal, keeping it from getting scratched. It is quite stable, holding the laptop easily even at the maximum recommended height, however a slight tilt has been noted (it hasn't increased to my knowledge).
