This pull up bar looks quality made and is pretty sturdy. I was actually hesitant about how this thing could hold up so much weight purely on tension. To my surprise, it was very sturdy and was able to withstand the weight of my kids, my husband and myself (individually!). I took one star off because when we removed it from the doorframe after testing it for a few days, some nails in our door frame came through in the spots the bar was placed. I’m not sure if this is a common thing when using these types of doorframe pull up bars, but I didn’t want to risk further damaging the frame so we’ve kept it off.
