This is the perfect Dutch Oven for me! Heat is evenly distributed, well worth the unbelievably low price I paid for this cast iron item. Cooks well in oven-I use it for all soups, stews, casseroles, etc. Smooth texture, beautiful (blue) cast iron, very easy to clean, and durable. No scratches or dents!! Read more

I love using cast iron cookware. And I bought this cast iron Dutch Oven specifically for making sourdough bread - to my surprise it even came with a recipe and “how-to” booklet (along with the user manual for the Dutch oven). I ordered the sea glass color and wow, it’s sooo beautiful! I’m in love with this purchase! It’s not only perfect for making my sourdough bread but it’s the perfect pot for making stews, soups, etc. The 6.5 size is the perfect capacity/size. It’s durable and can handle up to 500 degrees (f). Ease of use too - with handles that don’t get too hot when using on the stovetop. All in all I’m super stoked with this purchase. And I’d say for the price, especially compared to other popular name brands, this is one of the best I’ve ever had. Read more

It came just in time for me to cook shrimp jambalaya. It was perfect and handsome enough to go directly onto the table. Clean up was easy and it will get lots of use in the future. Very happy with the color and its usefulness. Read more

Giving this 5 stars for now as i just got it and overall by observation looks quality. I have the blue enamel and the inside is white enamel. It is heavy cast iron and nice size, i think id make stews and chilis, maybe soups and id like to try roasting maybe cornish hens. First time buying a dutch oven and noticed the edges that touch from the lid to the pot top are just raw cast iron so not sure if i need to season it. The box was a little worn and old tape so not really gift ready but for myself it was perfectly ok and the pot was totally fine. Looking over the construction the only thing that looks weak is the small screw for the pot lid handle. Will be trying it out so will let you all know how non stick and cleanable it is. Great for the price. If youre going to gift then lodge is the way to go. Read more

Was a little hesitant to buy enameled but loved the color. Purchased for baking and so far so good - even and fast heating. Only con is the edges. Edges are not coated so plan on making sure it is 100% dry after washing to prevent rusting. Read more

Very nice Dutch Oven. Beautiful Blue. It came with a User Manual for a "Nuovva Enamel Cast Iron Bread Pot" and a "Sourdough Recipe Book" that would be included with the "Nuovva Bread Pot". The Bread Pot is a totally different product. No Biggy though. I wasn't really expecting a user manual to be included anyway. Cooked some French Onion Soup in it yesterday that turned out delicious. Pretty good price compared to retail big box stores. Read more

I cook. And I own earlier versions of LeCreuset. This enameled cast iron line is outstanding. I have this one and a sligihtly larger one in orange. First of all, they are so attractive that I leave them on the stove top. I'm also using them everyday, so that makes sense. These cook like a professional tool. The quality is amazing. Read the directions,,,don't slide them along the stovetop especially if you have a gas range. Those grates will scratch the bottom. I never dishwash things like this. It takes so little effort to gently wash it in the sink. They absolutely do NOT need high heat. I'm able to turn down the heat and I use these smaller ones on low, or a maximum of medium. For the few times when food has gotten stuck, I add a little dish soap and water. Then I put it back on the stovetop on a low to medium heat for 5 minutes. Easy. Nothing sticks for long. These are substantial...at least as heavy as LeCreuset. But I'm an older, small woman and I have zero problems moving these around. I took a chance on these because LeCreuset has priced themselves out of the market as far as I'm concerned. Don't know who "Nuovva" is, but they are the equal to, or superior to, LeCreuset. And I don't know anyone who works for either company! All you fellow cooks out there, you're going to love these. Read more
