This air fryer works great and is so easy to use thanks to all the pre-programmed options. Normally I’m just heating up something simple like chicken tenders for my kids, heating a slice of pizza, crisping up some fries, etc. I don’t usually have to make any adjustments to time or temperature, but it is possible to do if I need to. I absolutely trust my teenager to be able to use this and it was easy enough for him to figure out. My younger ones need supervision since it gets hot but they can help out. The basket has a non-stick coating to make cleanup easy. Mostly I just wipe it clean and that is enough. The basket is smooth metal with cutouts for air circulation which is easy to clean compared to woven mesh. The size of the basket is big enough to fit a slice of pizza. It does a great job of reheating, without making the bottom soggy. The height of the air fryer is low enough that it fits under my cupboards for storage and easy access. It’s a nice machine. The only reason for the 4 stars is the size. It works well and the food cooked in it comes out well. You will have to experiment and adjust time and temperature to get the best results, but that is part of the fun of cooking. I bought the smaller sized unit which works for one or two people. It works well, but you will need to be flexible on the time and temperature as you learn how things cook. The times and temperatures provided are just guidelines, and not set in stone. I leave in a hot part of the country, so this little air fryer works well to cook meals without hearing up my whole house and costing me more in electric bills. The meat has come out tender and jucy. French Fries are crisp and tasty when done from scratch, and if bought from a drive in restaurant, they can be crisped up in a hurry if needed. I prefer to hand wash mine as it will prolong the life of the basket and grill. Also there are great suggestions on Youtube including parchment paper to save clean up hassels when cooking sticky or messy foods. I would recommend this product. Read more

I bought this because of the reviews, because of the description and because I have two other Nutrichef appliances. This is misleading advertising. There are no presets as listed. There is no dehydrate, bread, reheat, etc. There are only certain foods listed and its not even a preset. You still have to know time and temp and there are zero instructions on how to do any of the things listed in the "12 preset programs". There's a small recipe book with literally nothing in it. I made a chicken breast based on the instructions for a chicken recipe in the recipe book. I sliced it thin, used a higher temp and left it in longer and it was barely at done temp. Tasted like rubber. I'd like to use the dehydrate but there's not a clue as to how to do that. Ditto for reheating or any of the 12 things listed. Note the 12 icons on the top of the machine are not what's noted in the 12 large pictures of the presets. If they're going to sell an appliance touting all the uses, then they need to give the buyers a hint as to how to do it. Read more

I love that it has so many pre-programmed cooking options making this so easy to use, but like that you can also manually set temp (max 400F) and cooking time (max 60mins). The touchscreen control panel is very responsive and straight forward to use. I like that it lights up when cooking so that you can see inside without having to open the drawer unnecessarily and that it’s basket is of a good size and capable of fitting a whole chicken if needed. I’ve not seen an air fryer with the added feature of a ‘tenderizer’ before so that’s why I went with this model as we cook a lot of chicken and this extra feature really does make a big impact on keeping the meat moist and flavorful.
