I have an air fryer that we use for baking potatoes, this device is far superior for baking, and roasting. It is great for a whole chicken, pork ribs, chicken thighs, vegetables. PROS: Works well for us. We have now eliminated our outdoor grill and indoor grill. Use it for steaks and chicken. I don't even flip it over..and it turns out extremely moist. CONS: the top rack for making fries, etc., is super close the the heat source. Also, it would be great to have a rack that fit better in the middle of the grill (steaks, etc.) as I find the space there limited...rack is pretty small compared to the footprint of this grill. I liked everything about the product: workmanship, quality, the way it worked. What I didn’t like about it is the fact that there’s no booklet showing how its parts fit together, how to set it up, or how to use it–and there are no recipes. So I had to go out on the Internet to try to find out what I needed to know. However, all I could find was videos of people using their halogen air fryers, but no information I could use pertaining to THIS exact brand or model. So I’m still struggling on my own trying to figure what all the parts are used for, how they fit together for different food, cooking times, etc., etc., etc. Read more
I like : I can wash the bowl due to glass material. I can use for special food which can splatter the oil everywhere that I can clean it easily. Mainly, I want to cook crispy puffy pork belly. Though I have Maytag oven , broil built in . Also I have a brand new Cuisinart airfare toaster big one that can be multifunction , too. The reason I returned : It does NOT work , the red light power is NOT on after I plug. It is so HEAVY , it is a kind of difficult for an old lady to wash and to maintain clean. It takes a lot of space for my kitchen . It is NOT worthy for me to have it . It is NOT efficient for me to use . Overall : I was a kind of disappointed to receive it especially it does NOT work. It took me so much time to re pack it in the box to return , I had to use my trolly to haul to UPS by myself. Actually I had marinated my pork belly for a couple days , ready to go ! This airfryer is just remarkable. I used to for my roasted potatoes placed directly inside the bowl and ohh my goodness, there were better than oven baked. I have not used it for fish or chicken as yet using the rack but I have no doubt they'll be just as awesome. Great buy Read more
After about 5 years of service the first one died. We honestly use this thing three times a week or more and it works great. We've done everything from sausages, burgers, even tried steaks one time and they turned out pretty good. The simplicity and easy cleanup make this thing a great part of our kitchen, definitely recommend it if you're looking for something that's easy to use. Read more
