I have the two biggest picky German Shepherds i’ve ever owned! You wouldn’t think from their sizes; my male is 140 lbs and female is more average, at 70 lbs. They will snub their nose even at real meat (raw or cooked)! I always add toppers to their food (usually a cooked meat) and they dig into this and finish their plates, even my little girl that couldn’t care less about food, unless she’s. Wry hungry (but still won’t eat anything). The value for the money is great, especially with some of the additional offers, like the current, spend $100 and get $30 credit?! Wow! My male has a much more sensitive system and will get diarrhea at the drop of a hat, but doesn’t with this one. I’ve also fed them the nutrish, which they like too, but prefer Big Life. The quality seems great and a tad bit heavier in a cup than the food we used to feed them (Purina One Lamb and Rice; I won’t feed them that again because (regardless of what anyone says, they e changed their formula several times… my dogs will just stop eating it. Let me just say this, my dog, Bullet, and American bandogge mastiff, has been my spoiled brat since he was born (unalive) CPR for 12 minutes, gave him life again, carried him in my bra for 6 weeks, bottle fed him til he could eat food, always gave him maximum bully food(very expensive, then was feeding him a whole boiled chicken and rice and 3lbs of hot dogs a day, we have done that for 11 years now, he's 150lbs, recently decided he didn't want to eat at all...I tried several things, no go... I did real the ingredients and reviews on this food , I decided to give it a whirl, besides money what else did I have to lose, bullet wasn't eating anyways, I thought maybe it was because he wasn't feeling well or a toothache....but once this arrived I cut the top of the bag off and rolled it down and sat it in his food corner(he eats straight from the bag whenever he wants to eat, he has no schedule, he is VERY VERY PICKY AND SPOILED, he walked over and sniffed it for literally like 2 minutes...and walked away, hmmmm I walked away and peeked around the corner and wouldn't you know he was shoulder deep into the bag eating it like crazy!!! THIS HUGE BAG WAS GONE IN A FEW DAYS!!! IM DEFINITELY ORDERING AGAIN RIGHT NOW!!! This food has been such a winner for my mastiff. The ingredients great. She is very picky about taste and it has been hard to find her a food that she likes that still has the health effects she needs. I’ve found that when comparing foods this one was similar to others at a higher price point. Its appearance is brown kibble. I will say its sent it very pungent, if you keep it in a container with a lid you wont have any problems. The reason I only gave it four stars is because I recently was told to switch her food, that she likely had an allergy to a food ingredient? I have a 115lb Bernese Mountain Dog and we switched from Diamond Naturals because he never really liked the Diamond Naturals. Have been using for a few months now and he eats it with no issues. I do put water over it along with honey or an egg (when I can afford the eggs lol). Read more

I have a 50 pound pittie girl and I am picky about what she eats. I was happy to try this Nutrish Real Beef dog food because the ingredients are good quality. The first ingredient is beef and the second is chicken meal (a concentrated protein made from drying real chicken). The third ingredient is dried peas, which are also high protein- plus they have nutrients like iron, zinc, and potassium. The next ingredient is soybean meal which is another good protein source, plus it's good for the coat. Besides proteins and amino acids and iron, this food also has omega-3's, glucosamine, vitamins, and anti-oxidants. Most importantly - my girl LOVES it!!! See her happy smile.
