At first I thought $99 for 20 mm was a lot of money for a professional Pilates matt, but after receiving it I realized it is made with quality materials, and totally worth the money. It is 2-3 x the thickness of a regular yoga matt, the material is more supportive for back issues or if you are pregnant, the matt is oversized so more room for stretching, yoga, or Pilates, love the color purple, it is firm enough to support people who suffer with back pain and just way more comfortable then the standard cheap yoga matt. It is actually really nice. I may buy another one that is 30 mm for $149 next purchase after seeing the quality of this matt. Read more

Love this because my floors are tile. The extra thickness “accommodates my bones”…. No discomfort. I would recommend going for the slight extra cost to buy this mat rather than the typical thinner mat. Read more
The mat is great for doing any kind of exercise. Unfortunately, the company rolled it up and tightly wrapped it and upon unwrapping it, the inner most end of the roll was crimped and therefore permanently creased. At that point, it would be very difficult to get it wrapped up again for a return, and even if you ordered a replacement, Amazon would have no way of knowing whether the replacement was also crimped or not. So, "rinse and repeat" becomes the slogan until you get lucky and get one that isn't damaged. Seems like a product that would best be purchased from an exercise equipment retailer who could straighten them out and ensure there are no packaging issues, but clearly that would be hard to find. Every post says it is thick which it is, however it is also dense and has excellent cushion between you and the floor. They are very large size, great but forget trying to make them fit back into the storage bag, straps are short too for re-packing. We leave ours out leaning against the wall and that works for us.
