This product is great for those who have hard water. I use a packet in my dishwasher with each load of dishes. One packet lasts about 3 complete dishwasher cycles now, as the packaging is made smaller than when I first began using this. The older product design had more volume within each envelope. These are simple to use in the dishwasher, just take one envelope from the package of 5 and place it unopened in the silverware rack of your dishwasher, add soap like normal and run the dishwasher cycle. It's simple and addresses the hard water concerns, adding to the life of the appliance. One thing I fail to do is remembering how many cycles I've run since changing out the packets. I have used these for the past 5 years and have really noticed how much better the dishwasher runs and stays clean of lime scale residue when these are used within the cycle. I bought these to clean out the inside of my dishwasher. I have hard water which made the stainless inside of my dishwasher look bad shortly after installing it. After ignoring the conditions for a number of years it was suggested to me to buy CitraCharge to clean it out. I didn't realize how bad it was until I started using this. The stainless surface was almost back to new after a couple of packets. After three packets I could remove the filter from the bottom. The bottom screen was caked with residue. I'm on my second 5pk and almost all of the residue is gone. Each packet lasts about 3 or 4 cycles. This was much cheaper and easier than other solutions and I feel like this is safer to use. We were finding our clear glasses were looking cloudy after dishwashing and heard about NuvoH2O CitraCharge. I just put a package in one of the spoon bins of the dishwasher and run it as usual. Presto chango, no cloudy glasses. It does work perfectly. My only complaint would be that the company recently created "New Packaging" which is code for reduced size. I have tried dozens of solutions to end up with clean and clear dishes from my dishwasher. Aside from installing a water filter in the line, I've tried every solution suggested online. Each one has given me hope, only to be followed by disappointment. The Citri charge packets are easy to use - I drop 2 into the silverware holders and proceed as usual. I can easily tell when the packets are empty because the glasses come out milky immediately. I still use a detergent for hard water and clean my dishwasher every couple of months. Not sure about it. It does put a powdery substance on the coils. But It seems like the water/mineral stains that had appeared on the door have gotten lighter and less. Dishes coming out fine. Read more

I used this product, as directed, on the base of my faucets. I tried 3 times and it didn't remove any hard water build up at all. I meant to return it but I missed my return window by one day. Don't waste your money. Read more

We have moderately hard water and have had trouble with the white haze on our glasses and silverware when they come out of the dishwasher. Jet Dry never really helped and then we got a free sample of CitraCharge and what a difference! It was such an improvement that we bought our first 5 pack. We are now on our second 5 pack. We no longer have to use Jet Dry for crystal clear glasses and bright and shinny silverware. We are VERY happy with CitraCharge. Read more
