This is a perfect addition to my kitchen appliance needs. It takes up very little space e on my counter top. I've had the original Nuwave oven for multiple years. And used it several times a day. My parents recently told me how much they love their air fryer for everyday cooking. So I decided to give it a try. This is the NUWAVE DUET pressure cooker and air fryer combo, which is great, because I was able to get replace my old pressure cooker. From-scratch fries (slice two potatoes, drizzle olive oil, add salt) are so crispy in just 20 minutes at 400 degree. The manual comes with lots of different recipes and cook times. We’ve been really pleased with our cooker. We already had an Insta pot, and sometimes we use both together to cook larger quantities. The air fryer part of the Nuwave is what really fascinates us. We’ve just begun to learn to use the program settings, but the menus available in the app are helpful. It’s very easy to use and clean. I've had my nuwave duet for about a week, and so far, I'm really enjoying its ease of use and versatility. First use takes a bit of reading to make sure you're doing everything correctly, but then it's super easy to use. The only con would be when using the pressure cooker, it does take a while to pressurize, but it saves a lot of time that would be spent waiting for water to boil or actually cooking, so it balances out. The nuwave duet even comes with a recipe book with so many things I look forward to trying! Clean up is a breeze and I enjoy being able to do all my cooking in one pot. I hardly ever use the stove this is so easy to use. It pretty much does all the cooking for me lol! I cook my main weekly dishes and snacks in here but it comes with different recipes and directions on how you can use this and I haven't even done half of what you can do with this machine! So far I've pressure cooker my Dahl, rice, beans. Cooked my pasta, baked chicken, boiled chicken, air fryed fries, samosas, mozzarella sticks, air fryed CAKE, BROWNIES, COOKIES, BREAD!! It all came out so delicious!!! It was convient to have when I had an extremely tiny kitchen, but now that I have a bigger kitchen I still mainly use my nuwave!!! Read more

I do love this combo cooker. The air fryer is plenty big for my little family and I love that I can combo cook frozen raw chicken wings to crispy perfection in no time! This is my introduction to air frying, and I must say, I’m sold!! Now for the CONS: The unit has a slow cooker setting, but even after purchasing a separate slow cooker lid, it still gets WAY too hot. My chili started burning on the bottom after just 15 min of “slow cooking” and was at a super high boil. I gave up on the “slow cook” preset and tried a few different ways of using the sauté function but turning down the heat. Same thing. Can’t get it at a low enough temp to slow cook. Pretty disappointed as this was one of the main things I was excited about. Also, I didn’t notice this particular unit didn’t come with the grill pan. I was super excited to grill indoors this winter. But it won’t be happening as I can’t find that pan for less than $90 in a separate set. I would recommend finding the seller that also includes the grill pan and baking bunt pan. Or perhaps I should have just gone with a good old fashioned instapot. I DO love the size of this unit and was part of why I purchased it. The fryer lid is low profile and the whole unit sits on my tiny counter with no bother! So, I will keep it, but looks like I also need a crockpot. :-/ Read more
