These pants fit great. I'm 5'6 and wear a womens size 14 and I ordered a size 36 waist,32 length. They have a bit of stretch to them which is great. The material is soft,they are also warm,the length is great,the waist is a little big but I wanted room for my thermals as I wear these to work and also they're mens. These trousers are fine overall, but there’s something about them that feels a little off, even though I can’t quite pinpoint it. The material is somewhat stiff, which may actually be exactly what some people are looking for if they prefer more structure, but it wasn’t my personal preference. The color is nice and looks accurate in person, the seams and stitching appear well done, and the length is right. They fit as labeled and have a medium-weight feel that could work across multiple seasons. There’s nothing obviously wrong with them, but they didn’t fully win me over either. For the price, I cant really complain. My absolute favorite pants are Levi's 511 Slim Tech Pants. I wear a size 32x32. I have multiple pairs and wear them routinely. Nearly every day, actually. I rarely (never) wear cotton chinos any longer. Just not my thing, I guess. Besides jeans, cotton chinos were my go-to style in college in the 1990s, if I remember correctly. The NY Threads cotton chino pants are okay. Since they're a regular fit they feel ever so slightly bulky. I'm 6' 170lbs with a relatively spindly runner's build. The pants look pretty good on me, but the proportions just don't feel ideal. Sizing is basically true. I ordered 32x32. I could argue they might be slightly large in the waist, but it's pretty close to what I would expect. Whatever you do, don't size up. Just stick with your normal size. The fabric is super soft. They're 98% cotton and 2% Spandex (elastane). I'm not impressed enough to switch from my Levi's to these, nor am I impressed enough to even include these in my regular rotation of pants. For those who like cotton chinos, these would probably be a pretty good choice. Read more
