Our six year old 92 pound Old English Bulldog Harley and his partner in crime our 6 month old puppy, Elvis of the same breed - are the certified kings when it comes to destroying even the toughest toys. A long time fan of Nylabone products - they design toys with the dog in mind and not humans.Nylabone has been producing some of the finest, most durable dog toys here in the United States for over 50 years. That said, the Classic "Wish bone" has been a staple in this house for years. Our dogs just never tire of it. Our oldest Bulldog "Harley" is finicky about toys and loses interest after a few minutes but he'll keep this chew bone in his mouth for hours - even walking around the house with it, or holding it in his mouth while he haul his near 100 pound behind into bed. Elvis, our 6 month old Godzilla chewer can't leave these alone either and can inflict some serious damage in record time. Nylabone is an excellent alternative to Rawhide which is processed with Formaldehyde and is fundamentally unhealthy and dangerous for dogs. - we stopped using rawhide toys years ago. Like most all Nylabone products these toys not only provide hours fun and hold up to even the most aggressive, hardcore chewers - they clean their teeth of tarter and plaque and help keep them healthy and white. When our Vet asked how we kept Harley's teeth so prefect - we answered Nylabones! This toy is just Great and offers the Following benefits to Pooch and Human Alike: 1) Molded in a shape dogs just love 2) Surprisingly strong and resilient. 3) safe and Non Toxic Material 4) Quality construction 5) American made 100% Safe 6) Great size for most dogs - big end knots dogs love to chomp on If you're looking for an excellent, time and dog proven toy that can stand up to big time chewers - you can't go wrong with the Wishbone from Nylabone.Like any dog toy supervision is key and an effort should be made to enjoy this toy along with your pooch under a watchful eye. 5 PAWS UP! Our 2 dogs chew on bones very quickly and wear them down fast. We were glad to find these bones. They were a great value for the money. The material is durable and our dogs love them. It is a great toy for them that we would highly recommend. Read more

This lasted us 3 months and that is by far the longest lasting chew toy, 'bone', stuffed toy, whatever, in my household for my shih-poo puppy! I am buying another one. He loves it and it just got really chewed up on the ends to the point of me wondering if he was ingesting any of this or not. It is really frustrating, we aren't supposed to give them real bones or rawhide, but what good is plastic if they ingest it? Anyway I have tried other nylabones, the ones that are rubbery with little bumps as well as a smooth rubbery one. They didn't last very long. Like a few weeks for one, and the smooth rubbery one, just days. I thought it would be more indestructible than just 3 mos. but in comparison with other 'bones', this is the best I've found. I like the shape, dog seems to be able to grip it nicely and bite the way he wants to, I guess! My dog is still a puppy, just over 6 mos, but he is winning the battle over a lot of these 'bones.' Quite frustrating. Read more

I have kept this bone available to my 2 yr. mini schnauzer since she was a pup. She picks it up numerous times during the day and chews on it. Definitely keeps her attention away from chewing other things. Read more

My 4 month old Lab is 40 pounds, teething like crazy and is a very aggressive chewer--I learned to stay away from anything labeled as a "for puppies" product because he'd quickly chew it to pieces. We're crate training him and I didn't like the idea of leaving a plush toy with him in his crate because he could tear it open and start eating the insides (I should've named this dog Hoover because he'll suck up anything he can get in his mouth!) but I wanted to give him something to chew on. What to do? The answer was Nylabone, of course, but which one? We ordered this Wishbone Wolf, a Nylabone Durable Chicken Souper , a Nylabone Nyla-Ring and a Nylabone Double-Action Chew Combo Bone . He wasn't terribly interested in the others but LOVED this wishbone. He really likes chewing on the knobby ends, and the fact that it's wishbone-shaped means it's easier for him to lever it up using his oversized puppy paws to get one end off the floor. This bone is seriously durable too; my pup has had it for nearly a month and the ends aren't even worn down yet. As a first time dog owner, at first I marveled that he liked chewing on something so hard since his first puppy chew toys were plush toys, but then I remembered that dogs love to chew real bones and they're hard as.... well, hard as bone! Dogs have their own individual likes and dislikes, but for my Lab puppy this Wishbone is hands down his favorite item for serious chew time! Read more
