My girl is the definition of a power chewer. I started her on Nylabones at a young age and it saved my cabinets, wooden objects, furniture, anything she can wrap her gums around. This bone is BIG! She can easily grip it with her paws and she thoroughly enjoys chewing on it. I think she's prepping for a zombie apocalypse and strengthening her jaw because she really goes to town on these. It is very durable and outlasts many other "chew" bones/edibles/toys. It's a great value for the money because it actually lasts a couple of months compared to minutes or seconds. It is very hard, I mean hard. If your dog is like mine, trots around with toys, throwing them (yes, she can throw her own toys), or dropping/flinging them onto your feet, you may want to invest in a good pair of boots to avoid foot injury. I guess she likes the way it looks, I don't know. I don't think it looks bad, it's a chew bone. Anyhow, my dog loves it and she highly recommends it to all power chewers. She means dogs, not kids ;) Read more

This is a really great dog toy. I have had a good handful of my own dogs, and friends dogs come over and play with it. All the dogs from the soft chewers to the hardest chewers love it. We have had it for a little over a year, and you can see based on the state of it that while it has been loved, they have done almost no damage to it. Pros: The toy is pretty large for its weight making it easy to throw in a bag to travel with It is super durable The dogs like the multiple textures on it The price is totally worth it for the longevity of the toy It is long enough for you to hold the toy while the dog plays with it Cons: Due to the color and the roughness of the texture after dogs play with it, it shows the dirt easily and quickly looks pretty gross where they have bit The bit areas can become somewhat sharp, but not sharp enough to cause much issue - they can easily create snags that will grab to clothes. When I got these and opened them I was skeptical that our dog would like it. It feels like hard plastic but she just loves these. There is no odor to them (no, you can't smell the chicken) but she apparently can either smell it or taste it. We have had these for two weeks and they are still intact. She has made chew marks on one end but loves chewing on it. She isn't teething either, she is just a moderate to aggressive chewer and this satisfies that urge. Read more

It's ever so slightly harder and sounds more plastic-y when my boy drops it. Still, he likes the flavor and it's not hard enough to cause concerns about safety. I bought this at a slightly lower price and got slightly lower quality, but I still consider this purchase to be good value. Good enough. Read more

This is a very hard bone. My hard sugar spent a lot of time chewing on it and it’s still around. Read more
