This bone is one of the best toys I have purchased for my teething 4 month old Rottweiler. Unlike other toys that she has quickly torn apart, this one doesn’t even have one tiny missing piece yet. I purchased this after another Rott owner suggested it for durability and I have to say it is the most durable chew toy we have next to the Kong. I also have a 10 year old blue heeler and the two are great at destroying chew toys, but they have gone back and fourth taking turns with this and it has held up amazingly. This is also one of their favorite toys. It gets their attention every time I bring it out with its scent and keeps them wanting more. I even bring it to our training classes to keep pup busy when the trainer is talking. Unfortunately I don’t have a picture of pup with it. It’s currently in the vehicle (we use it as a reward during rides for sitting nice), but I really can’t say enough great things about this bone. If you have a serious chewer this is definitely the bone to get. Read more

I trust Nylabone. You should too. These toys are a well-made, and serve as a solid enrichment tool for your power-chewer. I highly recommend this product. Read more

Our vet was concerned about our last dog's chipped teeth. She was a big, powerful dobe and loved her bones and antlers, nothing that would splinter, but they did take a toll on her teeth. Our new dobe loves Nylabones just as well, chews them a lot, and Amazon prices are maybe half what they get for the same Nylabones in the pet shop. We do need to take the Nylabones with 'fake meat' away from her when they get to the point where she's pulling off chunks and eating them, but they last a couple months before it's an issue. There are always a few around, she's always biting on them, and after a year and a half there are zero chipped teetch. Read more

We bought this for our 40lb pitbull mix puppy. He was going through deer bones fast and they were getting slimy. Also they smelled like fish. This one is almost indestructible AND smells like oatmeal. He loves it. Read more

Holding up for 2 aggressive chewers for 2 weeks and hardly destroyed! My rotti and boxer destroy almost everything so quickly. The fact that this is still recognizable is awesome. Will keep buying and save me a lot of money. Read more

My 55 lb pitbull is a super chewer. Tennis balls last minutes. Anything stuffed with a squeaker is destroyed in less than an hour, no matter what material they use. The tough rubbery toys like Kong toys last a week or so. The only thing that can withstand my dog's crazy jaws are these hard nylon based toys. They are great at keeping him occupied and has excellent durability without the anxiety of him breaking a tooth, like with the super hard Himalayan yak cheese and antlers that have absolutely no give at all. I've mostly bought Benebone and Nylabones, and this is the first time I bought this particular one. My dog chewed on it non-stop for the first 20-30 minutes after I gave it to him. Definitely a winner. So far, there's just a bunch of superficial scratches on this toy. It's definitely holding up well, and my dog is definitely happy with it. And the way it looks, I suspect that this chew toy will last several months like the others. The only reason I dropped a couple stars is that this toy really smells. You can smell it from a few feet away, and it has that not-great dog-food smell. It's not disgusting, but it's definitely not great. As long as my dog is more than a yard away with this toy, I can't smell it. But as soon as he plops himself down next to me, the "beef" smell is evident. I'm hoping that maybe this smell will fade with time. Not sure I'd buy this exact one again because of the smell. The only good thing is that the slightly repulsive smell has suppressed any of my usual snacking impulses so I haven't gotten up to snack at all tonight while watching TV. Read more
