I have been looking for a good concealed-carry solution for a long time, and this finally fits the bill. Yes, I can pocket-carry a Ruger .380 Auto without it 'imprinting' too much, but that may not be enough gun if things go downhill fast. So my requirements for a viable concealed-carry solution are that the bag has to - fit my Glock 23 .40S&W with a standard magazine inserted; be a small enough bag not to be too 'obvious'; come in more colors than just tactical black; be able to be worn comfortably under a vest or jacket; sit comfortably on my chest; have a right-hand (I am right-handed) pocket for the weapon; carry a spare magazine; have one or more additional pockets for wallet, keys, business cards, cash, etc. This bag fits the bill! Although it is made by Vanlison, it also says Kawei Kngh on it (Kawei also makes a similar bag). I like that I can wear it across my chest (yes, the weight of the gun and magazine mean the bag tends to slip down under your arm over time, so you will have to discreetly reposition it, especially when you are walking... but no big deal), but I can also quickly reposition the bag under my arm (e.g. when wearing a vest or jacket) so that only the across-the-chest strap is visible at the front. I added a small zipper extender to the zipper pull on the large pocket, so that it is easy to grab and quickly unzip that compartment, to access my Glock. It has a total of six pockets outside, and the large compartment has a zipper pocket inside as well as an open pocket. But I don't suggest you put anything in the large pocket except your handgun. The opening on the large pocket is 8" long, so it is plenty long enough to withdraw your handgun easily. My Glock is 7" long, 5" high with standard magazine inserted and the longest dimension (barrel end to back/bottom end of magazine) is 8.5". I bought the green bag. If it came in a light grey, I would buy one in that color also. I had thought of using a small sling bag instead, but they are all too large and anyway, you do not want a bag slung over your back with a weapon inside. The idea is for YOU to have easy access to the weapon, NOT the person standing behind you! I gave this bag 5 stars, feeling that it works for my purposes, seems to be well-made and is inexpensive. This just arrived and I am happy with it. It's the smaller black bag. Sturdy fabric, as hoped, substantial zippers on most pockets, ok ones on the others. It slings over the left shoulder for front-wearing, and makes it easy to access the pockets with my right hand. It has a ring on the front, that may be handy if I ever want to use a water bottle with it, or even attach gloves, etc. Mostly pros. The main con so far is that the strap is really long and there's no clip for it to keep it from flopping down. I may end up cutting it and perhaps hot gluing the end to keep it from raveling, but will try it out first. Maybe some kind of a clip will work instead. I got this to use on a trip to a city known for density of visiting crowds in the summer and for the propensity of indigenous pick-pockets to prey on them. The risk isn't necessarily any worse than any other major urban city, but putting things in front of you in zippered pockets helps a bit. Sometimes when you buy this stuff that's obviously mass-produced in an offshore factory you don't know what you're going to get. But this front sling pack is actually of decent quality. There are several pockets, each protected by zippers or a button, and one of the pockets is on the back side of the pouch area, so it's pressed against your body. I expect this will work fine. The only thing I'd like to see improved might be the size of the pockets; you'll not be able to carry anything large and there's no convenient place for a water bottle. But those are small gripes and addressing them could also make the bag heavier. I've only tested it out and it fits ok (I'm 5'7", male) and will update later after trying it out with a load. Update (11JUL2019): Back from the trip and this thing worked great. It kept my wallet and cash in front and I had things like metro passes and tickets in the pockets. It was not too obtrusive and I could even fit my pocket travel guide in the main compartment. Again, there were times I wished it had a bit more room but getting much bigger and you'd be better off with a full backpack. I kept it on my nearly at all times and in one case it proved to protect me from a pick pocket. We were at a café and the couple next to us had put a small purse on the back of a chair. It took only a moment and the thief was gone in a flash; none of us saw anything and the purse had been nabbed. It totally looks like a nerd sling on you, but I'd rather be a nerd with my wallet than a victimized fashion hound. Read more
Great bag, great construction. It's my everyday carry. So many pockets with easy access to get to my things. Comfortable thick padded shoulder strap. I do wish the zipper pulls were fabric, because the metal ones sometimes get too klangy. I also wish they had more colors to choose from. Read more
This is a solid looking sling-bag in medium heavy camping nylon with chunky zippers. It looks well made but I don't think it is well designed for everyday carry; too small. The top pockets probably fit a standard mobile phone but feel small. There's no easy access sleeve or un-zippered space for that phone. The zipper pulls don't have big cutouts that you could clip things to, and I cannot figure out a way to carry a water bottle. The shoulder strap is unpadded and loose and sloppy when extended.
