The NYX Professional Makeup Bare With Me Concealer Serum in Light is a standout, delivering hydrating, light-to-medium coverage that excels as both an all-over foundation and concealer, surpassing high-end and drugstore alternatives. Since 2021, I’ve used this product daily to cover acne-related hyperpigmentation and slight redness on my medium-light complexion with yellow/warm undertones. Having tried various foundations and concealers, this one’s versatility shines, even for long days. It blends effortlessly (I use a classic BeautyBlender sponge, damp) and doesn't move after setting with a light finishing powder. The 02 Light shade perfectly matches my skin, providing seamless coverage and a natural, radiant finish. Its hydrating, serum-like formula blends effortlessly and layers smoothly over my moisturizer (CeraVe) and sunscreen (Paula’s Choice), staying vibrant without creasing, even during long events and various weather conditions. This concealer serum is ideal for those with dry or combination skin seeking a multi-purpose product for all-over coverage and targeted concealing, offering a simplified, long-lasting makeup solution. I loved this concealer because it doesn't feel heavy and leaves my skin with a fresh, natural finish. It doesn't settle into fine lines and blends super easily. Ideal for everyday makeup, especially if you have combination or dry skin in some areas. A great buy. Read more

I received this with nothing much for packaging; just a round transparent sticker holding it closed! It did appear new and unused, though, and the product is very good, although not really moisturizing. I like the texture, though, it is thin, blendable if you are fast and then does not budge at all. I didn't realize it was waterproof, but that could be a plus. It can wash off with an oily makeup remover or some scrubbing ith soap and warm water. No scent I noticed. I could have really liked this. However, I can't wear it because the vanilla shade I chose is just a tad too light and cool for my pale olive skin. It looks a little white and greyish on me. That's not the product's fault, just my poor luck with ordering online. If I could have had a tester, the problem would be avoided. If you have used it before or tested it in the stores, I say go for it! Read more

03 Vanilla is quite yellow/warm but turns out it's excellent for dark undereye circles so I'm keeping it. Thinner liquid and a little goes a long way. Don't push out two full squirts to start like I did! You'll be left with a ton of product that you'll end up putting on the backs of your hands just to keep from wasting it! Buildable coverage and only settles in the creases a tiny bit. Honestly, Tarte creamy creaseless is infinitely better and I'll be carefully rationing my sample tubes to make them last- but at this price point, NYX wins over all other budget-friendly concealers that work with mature skin with fine lines. I use the shade Light and find it to be a reasonably neutral shade, but I can see why some people see that it has pink undertone. You can set it with a cool tone, lavender powder to counter some of the warm undertone if it's an issue for you (I use the lavender pressed powder from I'm Meme). In my first picture you'll see the Light shade swatched alongside other concealers I have laying around -- some are obviously not the right match for my skin tone! I apply this on my undereye area with the BK Beauty Angie concealer brush, and usually over a little bit of Aquaphor lip balm (the lip balm stick, not the ointment). Both the BK brush and the Aquaphor primer are good hacks I learned from reviews and they work pretty well. My second pic shows how little I use for my under eyes when I use the BK brush. I used to only apply concealer with my fingers but I've been enjoying this brush as it does a good job depositing all the product onto your skin rather than eating up the product. The coverage is medium, it doesn't fully conceal my dark circle but I still prefer this over a heavy coverage look. I wouldn't say it feels like a serum, but it does blend very nicely and looks very natural. For spot concealing, I prefer something like the Tarte Shape Tape which is more pigmented and yet thin, since I don't mind heavy coverage on small spots. I find the regular Shape Tape to be a little dry for my under eyes. The Shape Tape Ultra Creamy is better than the regular and pretty comparable to this NYX concealer but probably a tabs bit thicker. High hopes given the reviews but not for me. This concealer is sticky and thick and settles in any lines, fine or otherwise. Read more

This is my favorite concealer. It is lightweight, non-oily, matches my skin tone perfectly, and a little goes a long way. It really works. Plus, it's vegan and it doesn't break the bank. What's not to love? It's also easy to blend with other makeup brands or the same brand. And it doesn't wear off after half an hour. It is also easy to apply with a sponge. And the tube is little, so you can carry it with you everywhere. Read more
